Horrible customer service from Fabricio.
I’m an established customer of this store and always pay via the self check out as it is very fast and convenient. Yesterday, as I proceeded to pay for my weekly shopping, Fabriccio told me I could not pay there and I HAD to go to the regular cashier which had a line while self check was empty. I refused to go to the regular cashier and explained to him that I always use self check out not understanding why all of the sudden he’s telling me I cannot. He insisted that I could not use self check out at which point I requested to speak to the manager. Fabricio claimed he was the manager which I hope is not true. I told him once again that I always pay the his way and was not willing to wait on the cashier line at which point he asked me to leave the products there because I could only purchase them via the regular cashier. I ended up leaving the products and not completing my shopping. I will be going back to place a formal complaint with the store manager as this treatment is completely unacceptable and I will not accept to be treated this way. It was humiliating and extremely disrespectful not to mention inconvenient. I hope ALDI’s management team takes action to discipline this employee as I’m sure this is not the standard of customer service they...
Read moreAwful ridiculous checkout situation: 1 cashier to handle everything, half the annoying self-checkout lanes are usually closed off, so the customers have to suffer because they don't staff the front with enough people to handle all lanes open. Nobody helps guide people standing in lines so they are constantly cutting each other off and getting angry. It's always poorly stocked, careless employees block aisles with multiple big carts without regard to shoppers needing to get through. There is no customer consideration whatsoever in that store. The low prices do not justify the inconvenience and overall aggravation of going there. Awful! Other views will confirm what I have said.
Update 3 months later, it's even WORSE. Still just one cashier who only speaks Spanish, half of self-checkout lanes are still always closed, now you MUST remove all items from cart to scan, so why have a hand scanner? Also some items are heavy or in case quantity! Aldi is determined to solve all it's problems at the customer's expense and...
Read moreI made a large purchase at this Aldis store in the 129 ave and kendall drive and a cashier blame on me that i need to pay for a grocery bag that cost 0.10 cents, when i took it to replace a broken bag that i previously paid. She scream in front of rest of customers making me feel really bad like if i am stealing from the store and is not fear because i’ve been a loyal customer at Aldis stores since opening in US. This cashier identifies herself as a manager and i ask her name and she said that she dont give the name and is a policy procedure. Aldi store owner must know that for a worker with this poor customer skill will loose a lot of customers because i will not continue purchasing at this...
