I have been coming to Puerto Madero for many MANY years!!! The staff always goes above and beyond to make sure my family and I feel welcome. We used to come every Friday for family dinner, our waiters are usually William or Benjamin and they are top of the line!!! Here they start you off with delicious baguette rolls and butter (the yummy creamy butter, not the synthetic one!) Our favorite plate is the Lomo Puerto Madero, there is nothing like it anywhere else in Miami!!! My kids always go for the entraña and the grilled chicken (oh and their lentil soup in the lunch menu is amazing). Most items on the menu are delicious with very generous portions, their sandwiches, pastas and of course different types of meat. They have a great selection of sweets and deserts, our favorite is the crème brûlée and the crepe filled with Nutella and strawberries. They also have a great breakfast selection with great portions! They have freshly squeezed orange juice and amazing cappuccinos. We love their red sangria and wine selection. Here is what I don’t recommend: the piña colada or the mojito, not tasteful. Their risottos, unfortunately I have ordered it several times (hoping it would be great) and it just doesn’t taste like it’s made properly. Finally, their waffles again it’s the taste for me, not the best. I would love to see thick fluffy Belgian waffles (continental breakfast style) on their menu! They have made a few small changes over the years, recently added television on the walls which is great. If I could, I would recommend replacing the table salt for sea salt (this is very important for me as a consumer), and also providing more information about the oils being used in the process. I think everyone is striving for a healthier life style, specifically when going out to a restaurant, having this information available can speak very highly of this little spot! Other than those few items and recommendations, this place is amazing!! Again, the food is delicious with lots of variety, customer service is THE best, they exceed my expectations every time. I look forward to continue visiting this little gem and making great memories with family...
Read moreTerrific Food; Poor Service. I have been there 3 times so far since I moved to the area, first time both service and food were great, very friendly server (woman) fantastic recommendation for my meal. Then my luck was over, I went back on Friday night very busy night, it took some time to get a table very understandable, once my server come to greet me he was very much upset or overwhelmed (short gentleman) he wasn’t happy about that I don’t drink so I didn’t order any, he took my order and disappeared during my visit to the restaurant, he just show up to get my credit card and get his 18% tip, that is the minimum number in the credit card machine, I didn’t receive no even a thank you…. I was thinking… he is busy with a large table celebrating a birthday, no a big deal, today 04/27/22 I went back, same server….. I told myself…. It’s just fine it’s 4pm very slow, he is going to be on point…. Big mistake…. One more time, he wasn’t happy, I ordered an empanada and pasta with chicken…. Empanada on time…. My main dish took over 30 minutes, I didn’t mind since I was watching the soccer game, then literally the server dumped the dish on the table and run away, I saw the dish, of course I wasn’t offered any cheese for my pasta, I didn’t have salt or pepper…. The chicken was over grilled, dry, the pasta was cold. I don’t like to complain I just finished my meal, I asked for my tab, of course 18% was next to...
Read moreWe just received the worst service at Puerto Madero. We asked for a burger for my 7 year old, it was burnt! Ashes falling over!!! And the owner had the nerve to gaslight my mother and I and stated multiple times it was not burn that it was well done. My mom happens to be a chef and even when he disrespectfully asked her how to make one she gave him specific instructions. He attempted to exchange it for another burger but he was very clear we needed to wait another 20minutes (we had waited almost 40min for the burger and the rest of the food was still not at our table). My mother cut the outer parts and gave that to my son (he was hungry and did not want to wait any longer). The owner continued to be loud stating it was not burnt and he can only do an exchanged, knowingly that my son was hungry and we had been waiting for his food. I've only gone there a handful of time to dine in, the cook def. Burnt the food, even the steaks were burned on the edges. I will not be returning tonthus place! The desserts are always old, never fresh. The cakes are good but do not buy the desserts om display they...
