Kenilworth Garden Center — Local services in Kenilworth

We thought we were going to the local Home Depot to pick up some plants but were dropped here. We should not have. Let us tell you the reason why:

We are not opposed to this place but will say that we felt it to be a bit tight and uncomfortable. The feeling tight part we can somewhat overlook. However, we did not like that we were being watched as if we were going to steal something while dressed in obvious business attire?

We also did not get equal treatment in a sense that a White male had been given a cordial pound while we were not. We sense that the worker and owner have a bit of an issue in that regard, hence the very poor but fair review to help all to stay and remain informed.

I bought 15 trees from this place because they were local and I thought I could trust them. On the day they were delivered, I had a bad feeling because several of them looked brown. I was told it was normal and only happened because they were too close on the truck being delivered and it would go away. exactly 1 month later 6 were dead and none of my requests for an exchange or replacement were acknowledged. At $50 each, I deserved some kind of remedy. Instead I got ignored and treated like something was wrong with me. Never again. Even my boss said he knew him and was surprised. At least Home Depot...

I happened upon Kenilworth Garden Center early on in the pandemic when I was looking for curbside delivery. Art was so accommodating and friendly! The flowers and plants that I purchased were amazing and are thriving. I've been back three times since my first visit and will continue to be a customer in the future!
