I am writing to express my utmost disappointment and disgust with my recent stay at Suburban Extended Stay in Kennesaw, Georgia on 7/5/2023 through Hotwire. I booked a room at your establishment with the expectation of a clean and comfortable environment, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon entering the room assigned to me, it became immediately evident that the cleanliness standards at your hotel were severely lacking. The room was in a deplorable condition, with visible dirt, grime, and stains on the furniture, carpet, and walls. I was appalled to discover multiple roaches scurrying across the floor and walls, indicating a severe infestation issue. As a paying customer, I find it completely unacceptable to be subjected to such unsanitary and repulsive conditions during my stay. The presence of roaches not only poses a serious health hazard but also creates an extremely uncomfortable and distressing atmosphere. It is evident that proper pest control measures have been neglected, putting the well-being of guests at risk. Furthermore, I must address the issue of false advertising with Hotwire. Hotwire hotel's online reviews and promotional materials depicted a clean and well-maintained establishment. However, my experience with #Hotwire contradicts these claims entirely. It is evident that Hotwire hotels has misled potential guests by misrepresenting the state of its facilities. This breach of trust is deeply disappointing and raises concerns about the integrity of your business. I immediately approached the front desk to voice my concerns and requested to be moved to a different room. However, I was informed that there were no other available rooms. This response is wholly unacceptable, as it suggests a lack of consideration for the well-being and satisfaction of your guests. I expect a higher level of customer service and prompt resolution when faced with such grave issues. Given the unhygienic and uncomfortable conditions I endured during my stay, I kindly request a full refund for the cost of my reservation at Suburban Extended Stay through Hotwire. I believe it is only fair and reasonable considering the significant inconvenience and distress caused by the state of the room and the subsequent inability to provide an alternative. I trust that you will address my concerns promptly and take appropriate action to rectify these issues. I sincerely hope that Suburban Extended Stay and Hotwire will demonstrate a commitment to ensuring the cleanliness and quality of your facilities for the benefit of future guests. Failure to do so will leave me with no choice but to escalate this matter further and explore other avenues to obtain the compensation I deserve. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. Itinerary #72595576021683 #roachhotel ...
Read moreI stayed here for a few nights temporarily as all the other places on the other side of town were booked for special events taking place around the holiday. WORST NIGHTMARE EVER!! The first night, the water was shut off from 11pm - 9am or longer. It was due to come on at 4am; however, they apparently burst another pipe 😒 and had to wait until 7am to get a piece from the store. I could not shower nor wash my hair. Thank God, I had a gym membership and it was nearby. The second night, I encountered a small roach on the bed 😳 who had made himself at home. Aaaaaah!! I was afraid to go to sleep lol and on top of that the walls were thin. Screams from rough sex and the knocking of headboards filled the atmosphere; and the fridge made constant noise in the midnight hours. I personally think my room was haunted 😂😂. The stovetop was terrible and wouldn't allow my food to even boil. It simply set there and became hot after like 20 minutes. Did I mention that on the 2nd day I was locked out of my room after I returned from my shower and shopping? I waited at the front desk for roughly 10 minutes before being helped. I was patient, no big deal. But then after I extended my issue, "Yes, you were locked out because you haven't paid. We need a form of payment." Whattttt??? The room was prepaid via credit card on the website. They charged my card a day prior to my arrival. I kept it professional; but was literally given a hassle. NEVER AGAIN!! RUN LIKE HELL!! The one in Duluth is much better, wayyyyy cleaner, and the staff is amazing. Anywho, I was instructed to contact my credit card company to obtain the routing number that would be attached to the charges. I did as she instructed and only then was she able to populate the charges in her system. 😣. Upgrade needed ASAP!. The hotel is a bit sketchy in my opinion; but it's in close proximity to everything such as banks, grocery stores, outlets, gas stations, tons of restaurants, and the highway. I guess the plus side is that my car was safe as well as my personals that were left in the room. I did not encounter any bedbugs; and the rate was extremely low as well as points were utilized. Even so, I will never stay here again as it was a complete nightmare. This place ought to be shut down and remodeled in it's entirety. Some people literally lived there in the midst of the leaks and water being shut off. It breaks my heart to see such as a previous hospitality professional. Upgrades are definitely needed. As large as the property is; there is potential, but it all boils down to leadership taking ownership. As it is an extended stay; it should be looked upon as being a home away from home...
Read moreI stayed 1 night and had a poor experience and was charged $67. That was fine. I paid and received a receipt for $67. My problem is on top of having a bad experience I was separately charged an unauthorized additional $406 charge to my card. The front desk clerk nor the receipt, nor a sign specifically stated Suburban will take out a 1 night stay $67 plus an additional $406 for a total of $473 just to stay 1 night!!! I would have left the hotel immediately!!! That was never stated, I paid $67 received a receipt for $67. The next day, I was charged $406 additional/ unauthorized which is higher than my 1 night $67 stay. The Manager Becky, was unconcerned and stated the money will go on my card in 5-10 days. I earned that money and My daughter and I need to that money to live off of. I'm requesting to receive my $406 money back ASAP. The company that initiates the hold can remove the hold. I already booked a room for me and my daughter at a different hotel. My daughter and I came in late from the airport our original hotel office was closed, however, Suburban was still open, so around 10:50 pm I reserved a room for 1 night only at Suburban. I never had a week long reservation only a reservation for 1 night. I stayed here twice before a year ago and had great experiences. My experience Thursday, March 29 was a poor experience. The first room my daughter and I was given looked used, because the bed looked slept in, the bathroom had towels but no wash clothes, and a dirty sink. I was given another room but that had a roach in the bathroom so I told the girl at the front desk and she came to the room and saw the roach too so she put me in another room. The last room, was a good room so we finally slept. The next day, $406 unauthorized charged was on my mobile bill statement. The unconcerned staff and managers seemed annoyed I was questioning the large amount of money missing stating they returned the amount to my card and my bank will return it in 5-10 business days. I argued $406 should have never been charged to my account, I'm here 1 night $67. They stated the money will go on my card in 5-10 days. I need my money now and cannot receive it until mid April?? I'm requesting to receive my $406 money back ASAP. The company that initiates the hold can remove the hold. That is a large amount of money and my daughter and I have to live off that. Plus, that's illegal banking practices and I will contact The Better Business Bureau so they can look into my...
