Imperial House — Local services in Kenosha

I have been renting from Joe since 2020 and it has been the best of all my renting experiences. Joe is a great guy, he is reasonable and honest, and his staff is amazing. They've had the same head maintenance guy, Steve, since I first moved in. He works hard around the building and is very quick to check on issues. My apartment has everything I could need. It's not perfect, but I've really made a home here. It is cozy and fairly quiet. There's beautiful large windows, lots of storage space, and the only utility we have to pay is the electric bill. Although rent goes up every year, these are still the most affordable apartments in the area. The location is great, the apartments are large, and the residents have all been very nice! pictures are from 2 different apartments...

I lived in these apartments for a total of four years - one year in the smaller building and three years in the larger building. Joe was one of the best landlords I've ever had! Any issue I had - from a toilet overflowing to AC going out in mid-July - were taken care of by Mike or Joe himself immediately. Just two blocks from Lake Michigan in downtown Kenosha, you couldn't get a better location. Also one of the only dog-friendly apartment complexes in the area. Currently, we live in Imperial House. It's pretty much a nice and quiet place. Everyone is friendly and looks out for each other. There's always, I would say one out of each floor that says things to make you uncomfortable. My stars are four out of five. We were looking for a better apartment, and moved in ten days later. We're just jealous of the next door building. It would be a better fit for us. Let's go with a 4.5 rating. They may not be big, but there is one washer and dryer per floor.
