I was super excited and nervous to try out a new hair salon but decided to come here based of all the good reviews. I hadnāt gotten my hair colored in years because of a bad previous experience getting my hair botched and then getting it fixed and damaging my hair from all the coloring. So I was scared to give a new place a shot after this had happened. I explained this to the stylist and showed her some inspiration photos of what I was looking for. I wanted a change after having babies last year and finally getting the baby weight off. I really wanted to just have something different than my usual hair and to feel beautiful. I was nervous about dying the hair and not getting the results I wanted and damaging my thin postpartum hair but after reading the great reviews I selected a stylist with plenty good reviews previously. I enjoyed my appointment but at the end my hair looked EXACTLY THE SAME. The stylist said maybe it was just the lighting in the studio and after I washed my hair a few times it would lighten up the highlights and make them show more. I got home and my fiance asked why it took 2 hours for me to get my hair straightened because it looked the exact same as when I left just straightened. Today at work I got asked by multiple people when I am going to get my hair done. So I basically spent 240 bucks to damage my hair dying it to look the exact same way as I did. I am very upset about spending the money and time and not getting the results I wanted. I donāt even want to get it fixed at this point because previous comments say they had to pay to get it redone after having issues. So disappointing, this salon is so close to home and I would have loved to come back but I probably will just stick to box dye in the future I guess.
Edit: the salon reached out and had me come back and fixed the coloring of my hair for free and now it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI NEVER write reviews but this experience was too incredible not to share. Keep in mind while reading this that I have had absolutely no relationship to corynn prior to the services sheās provided. This is all based off her hard work. Iāve had hydrofacials before, actually many times. Iām honestly still in shock at how different my entire experience was specifically with corynn though. From the moment I laid down I noticed she really puts care into the music she plays, the nice comfy blankets on the table and the environment she sets in her work area, it was like stepping into another dimension of relaxation and care. Her facial massage was so good it was borderline disorienting in the best possible way. She knew exactly how to hit every pressure point, especially in my jaw, where I carry a ton of tension. I didnāt even realize how much stress I was holding until she released it. I swear I floated off that table. I fought myself to stay awake lol..
And the results? Flawless. My skin has NEVER felt this smooth, refreshed, or clean. If you struggle with clogged pores like I do, this is your new holy grail. Corynn is a total progentle, intuitive, and clearly knows what sheās doing. You can tell she actually cares.
If youāve been thinking about treating yourself, let this be your sign. Go book with Corynn youāll thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI brought my 1.5 year old son there to get his hair cut. Back in the day they had a children's area for hair cuts but I guess they don't anymore. I didn't think to even ask if they still had the children's room. I had asked if they did hair cuts on young kids and they said they did so I booked it online. Once there I was told he would either have to sit by himself in a regular salon chair (which for anyone with a child under 2 knows that is almost impossible) or I would have to hold him, which I did end up having to do. The stylist did the best she could under the circumstances but it was very uncomfortable experience and personally it was a little more expensive than I realized. Online it says it starts at $20 but I thought for a child as young as him it wouldn't cost any extra but it did. The cut itself cost $27 that is more than a haircut for myself at my normal salon costs so I cringed paying for that. So my review is based solely on those reasons and because of that I won't be taking my son back. At least not until he is older and can appreciate the more expensive cuts. Outside of that the Stylist was VERY nice, did a great job and the Salon was very clean! So if your children are older- I would recommend. If your children is my sons age, I would recommend going somewhere a little more...
