First, Caudill's was very easy to work with in scheduling an appointment. They were very understanding when I had to reschedule twice. The day they were to come, they arrived on time. It was a master electrician accompanied by an apprentice. I needed two outlets replaced. They did so in less than 20 min. Very efficient, polite and courteous. They were clean and well groomed. All in all it was a 5 star experience UNTIL it came to the bill. I had been quoted $125 to replace the two outlets. Yes, that is high and I know how to do it myself but can no longer do it. I agreed to the price. However, when they handed me the bill it was for $209!!!!!!! More than a 65% increase over their quoted price!!!! I could understand if it had taken them 90 min to do it, but it took less than 20 min. When I called to complain that the price was far higher than what I was quoted, I was told someone would call me the next day. I asked to speak to the owner but was told she was a state senator and down in Raleigh, but that someone would reach out to me. No one ever called. I had other jobs I needed an electrician for and this was a test run to see how they did. As much as I liked the two gentlemen who came, I am NOT going to hire a company that pads its' bill by 65%. I just want to warn prospective customers about their false quotes. I would have left 5 stars if they had honored their original quote. Plus it didn't take TWO men to change TWO outlets. Anthony, Justin, Ben, & Ethan have all been great for our needs when we moved into an existing building but it wasn’t quite ready for our needs. We contacted David & he sent these guys our way. We explained how many TVs we needed mounted & wiring ran to make the TVs look very neat & clean on the walls in 2 offices & our conference room. They have honestly changed the direction our company will be able to go & our production will have a positive impact in the years to come. The security system panel & camera DVR we had in place upon moving in was old & severely outdated. Now we are able to arm & disarm the system with ease using an app on our phones!! Our camera system DVR works amazing & we are also able to view those from an app on our phone. We gave Caudill Electric company 5 stars because we could t give them anymore!!
