An employee refused to allow me to use my Crown Rewards bonus coupons on sale items, stating it was "Hallmark Policy", but could not show me that policy. The coupons did not have that restriction printed on them. She was combative and argumentative saying "I don't make the policies I just enforce them" loudly multiple times when I asked where that policy is located and told me to call the 800 number if I have a problem with it. I did not complete my purchase and did call the 800 number after leaving. I was told that is NOT corporate policy and while individual stores can create their own policies, they should be able to provide it.
During the holiday season when a ship to store purchase arrived they called and demanded I pick it up within 24 hrs. When you order online it says you will have a week to pick up after notification of arrival at the store. The employee also wrote "will pick up on xx date" on the package, which was the next day. I was not able to pick up until 48 hrs after the call and had stated that. After multiple negative experiences with rude employees I will not be back...
Read moreThe manager came to front of store and without assessing the situation… We were waiting to pay and a second register opened up and I was first in line and allowed the only other customer at the register to go before me. As the lady was ringing her up, a line was growing at the other lane and a gentleman beside me asked if I was in line. As I replied yes, the “manager” came up and stopped me from checking out and announcing, the line starts there (5 people now in line). I had spent 15-20 minutes picking out BD cards. She would have done better to have said after you, the line is there. I politely laid my goodies on a stool and left. I shop here, never again. Sorry...

My older children and I entered the store, took a quick look, and the only assistance I received was in the form of being stared at. Why didn't the lady working the counter ask me if I needed help?
