I ordered Chile Chorizo omelette which was delicious, but the side potatoes were way too salty. I couldn’t eat them, and I told the waitress to replace the potatoes. She acknowledged my concerns but brought me another side of potatoes from the same batch. How do I know it’s the same batch? Because she told me. Guess what? They were just as salty. AND she ended up putting the extra side potato on the bill. I couldn’t fathom what her thought process was. Obviously she knew the potatoes were too salty for me, even if I ordered another one, why would you give me the order from the same batch?? Did she think my concern was meritless? I wasn’t going to reason with someone who has a flawed thought process. I paid for the full bill, but didn’t give any tip, which I always give at least 20%. No one should be tipped for not putting any mind into their works. I honestly can’t remember the last time I received such a thoughtless service. We will not be back.

My friends and I have made it a tradition to come here for brunch every month and we are never left disappointed. The girls that take care of us are always the sweetest people on earth. The staff are always vibrant and a pleasure to be seen by. Today, Tara helped us and, wow, she was amazing! She never failed to make sure we were comfortable with our dining experience. She was very relaxed and had our food out in the quickest time. She was patient with our indecisiveness too. The food was great, per usual. And those pancakes are always so delicious! From our short time with her, we knew Tara was the type of person that makes everyone’s experience the best. Her calm demeanor makes the rush of what First Watch is seem like a breeze. She has an amazing attitude and we hope everyone has the opportunity to experience First Watch with her. With love, Table 42

Major shrinkflation. I remember when these menu-described "giant" pancakes used to overlap the periphery of the plate. I ordered 2 with the intention of taking one home as a snack later but easily bashed both of them at the table. And at $10 for 2 6" pancakes, it's obvious they're price gouging. And if you want to blame "inflation", keep in mind that as of January 2024, the first watch franchise is majority owned by Advent international, one of the largest vulture...or...ehem venture capitalist private equity firms in the world that is enjoying earth shattering record profits post pandemic. Just more corporate scum acting like entitled petulant toddlers duping people into blaming inflation for not only their bloodlust but my diminutive pancake. If I decide to get breakfast at a chain, I'll stick to a waffle house.

To provide background, I have been to first watch many times before and have always been pleased with the food/service.

I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant in my life. I am writing this in disappointment as my morning was ruined by my experience with first watch staff in Kettering.

I ordered a meal for both me and a date. Both meals were incorrect and bacon came on the plate of my date, who is a vegetarian. This was not a problem at all as our food was quickly and kindly remade. Once the plate came back, they had forgotten the side. This was still no problem as we shared the other side of bread.

When we went to the counter to pay, a server stared disgustedly at me and my date as I was paying. Even with the problems receiving our food, a generous tip was left to account for the extra service required. I could not believe that this man would be staring at me like this. I asked him to stop and he continued to stare at me until we left. I will never go back to this restaurant and will passionately remind others of my u...

I don’t eat First Watch often, mostly because it’s overpriced. But today I needed a quick breakfast before I hit the road. I called ahead to do a pick-up. The lady that answered the phone was quick to rush me through my order. Obviously I probably called during peak customer volume. I asked questions regarding the menu and she replied to just tell her what I wanted and she would figure it out. Since she was in a rush I simply ordered eggs & sausage links. She didn’t tell me the price & wrapped up my call. I showed up and my order was ready. It was $10!!!’! So I assumed the portion must be adequate, since I just paid $10 for a couple eggs and 2 sausage links..... Nope!! I opened the box and the container was filled with mostly empty space, with a couple little eggs and sausage!!! I laughed because I literally just got bent over the barrel for a “kids meal “ portion for $10!!!! (Literally, everybody- if you seen the portion you would’ve been equally shocked).

Lesson learned!! I recommend Hasty Tasty (restaurant...
