Unfortunately today was my last time visiting Epic. I've been going there for years and have even brought clients and coworkers for meetings and will miss this as an option. Today I went in to enjoy a latte and get some work done, but I found the WiFi wasn't showing up. After realizing this I saw that there were signs, so I asked the person at the register about it and was told it was no longer available. When I asked why, I was met with a snarky "Uh, REASONS!". I suspect this person is the owner as they've been there for years and has usually been quite pleasant, but I can't confirm this. Either way, to be met with such an unprofessional response was so disappointing that I had my drink packed up and left immediately. TO THE OWNER: it is always acceptable for any business to change what services are offered, however, it is also perfectly acceptable for any customer to inquire about the reason a service they're used to receiving is no longer available. I would recommend you try harder to understand your audience, as coffee shops are culturally associated with being conversational meeting places as well as for those who'd like to enjoy some coffee while using the Internet. The real issue though, is professionalism. For any small business owner/employee to respond in such a way to any customer who is asking a question is completely out of bounds and so disappointing. TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS: if you're looking to grab coffee to go or maybe meet someone you could go here, but I'd recommend any of the other locally owned coffee shops who would be more happy to take...

Nestled in the heart of Kettering, Ohio, Epic Coffee Shoppe is a treasure trove for coffee connoisseurs and sweet-tooth aficionados alike. It's not just a place to get your caffeine fix, it's an experience, one that begins the moment you step through the door and are greeted by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sight of a cornucopia of pastries.

The coffee here is the hero, and for good reason. Sipping on their ice cream and espresso frozen coffee—a divine concoction that marries the robust flavor of coffee with the silky smoothness of chocolate chip ice cream... is like catching a glimpse of heaven. It's a beverage that commands you to sit back, relax, and savor each frosty, creamy sip.

But why stop at just coffee when you can indulge in a pastry? The croissants are flaky, buttery masterpieces, perfect with a steaming cup of joe. And the lemon poppyseed cookie? It's a zesty, sweet treat that perfectly complements the rich coffee.

The ambiance of Epic Coffee Shoppe, with its charming décor and welcoming vibe, makes it the kind of place you'll want to linger. It's not just a coffee shop; it's a neighborhood haven, a spot that invites you to become a part of the community with every visit.

Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by Epic Coffee Shoppe. Bring your appetite, bring your friends, but most importantly, bring some time, because you'll want to...

So excited that this coffee shop is here! It's got a really nice vibe inside that reminds me of the coffee shops I go to in New York. There are tables, a counter and cozy little alcoves with couches. The staff were really friendly and still in that "we're so glad you came in, let us impress you!" stage of a new business. I was surprised to see they also have ice cream (may have been gelato, I didn't read the signs) and a food menu in addition to the scones and pastries in the small case.

The coldbrew was solid. I love that they have macadamia milk! Soda was good. The one hot drink I ordered was not great but that's on me because I ordered a flat white with coconut milk. I knew as soon as it came out of my mouth it was a really bad idea. The barista didn't actually know what a flat white was and I tried to explain but that coconut milk was going to sabotage it regardless. We also tried their version of a frappuccino and it was better than that other place, mostly because their homemade whip cream was not overly sweet and so thick and creamy.

The only problem is location. That corner shopping strip has always been a pain. I'm a little worried about parking. Of course we all put up with it when Bagel cafe was there. Just don't expect to always find a spot outside the door when this...

A christian coffee shop with very kind staff. There are tables, couches, and different corners. All very lovely. And the bathroom is large and clean + the shop has WiFi

Wow, What a Coffee Shoppe! I happened to be in Dayton for a class and was on my way to get breakfast and spotted this place on the corner. I am so glad I turned around and visited this place. It is well lit. Smells great and is visually pleasing. It is very clean looking. The menu is great. French toast, Monte Cristo and Avocado Toast to name a couple of breakfast items. They also have a charcuterie plate and a great selection of sandwiches. The beverage list is extensive. From espresso drinks to Italian sodas. The Belgian Eye Scream is a great way to start your day. Ice cream. Selection is fine too. This is a wonderful place and I would like to have one closer to me in Cincinnati. I will definitely be back to dine here.
