Family Dollar — Local services in Key West

THIS WAS THE WORST FAMILY DOLLAR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!! I'm active duty and the nex was closed so I decided to stop here to get my toddler medicine and wipes. Upon checking out, there was a man in front of me who needed to exchange socks, there was also a line behind me. We waited in line for about 5minutes and I called out "is there a cashier?" From around the corner comes a young lady huffing and puffing saying "yea yea yea" at this point I'm thinking she will apologize to the customers but she did NOT she badgered the man who needed to exchange socks demanding that he show her a receipt and as he was getting it told him to "move"over to the other lane. When it was my turn to check out, Ariana the cashier was rolling her eyes and scanning and talking noise the whole time I just stared at her , waiting for her to check her attitude. When she didn't I asked her for her name and she very rudely demanded why? I told her because she was rude and needed to work on her customer service skills and she told me I was rude and to have a nice day! At this point I'm completely baffled by this so I ask for her manager, it just so happened that the cashier working with the sock man turns around and says "yea I'm the manager what you mean she rude? " I then asked her name and she told me WHY YOU ASKING after telling me I was rude for asking their names and telling them that I would speak to someone above them, they both cattely told me how rude I was for asking them who they were and I needed to "check my attitude" Maybe if I was in my uniform they would have shown a bit more respect, I've been in Key West over a year and have NEVER ran into these kind of people in retail!!! hi i bought a dvd Player at ur store # 05795 in key largo Fla on 10/7/22 i asked the store clerk if i could return it if i was not satisfied. she said yes that i had 30 days with receipt. took it to my campground to watch a movie and the dvd tray got stuck could not see my movie. So our next campground would be in key west. took it to store# 11758 in key west and the Supv Ann Drevlau told me it could only be exchanged for same item. i told her i wanted my money back or store credit because its not good quality. She said returns do not apply to electrics. i told her how am my suppose to know that? when that was not told to me in the other store, and its not on receipt. am i suppose to be a psychic? she did not even have any documentation on return policy! all she did was stumble for words because she could not justify her statements. your company is horrible very anti-Customer. I WANT MY MONEY BACK OR I WILL CONTACT SOMEONE IN THE STATE OR THE BBB AND FILE A COMPLAINT. SINCE U HAVE NO CONTACT NUMBER...

After many years shopping in this store, I have never been treated so badly like today. Family Dollar in key West has holidays hours which says open at 8am, I even checked online and it says 8am. So after waiting hour up front of the store and letting manager know that their hours says 8am, he started arguing with me and keep saying no. Then he smoke cigarette and even it was already 9am he locked the door right up front of me 😲😲😲 I couldn't believe my eyes. I'm 8month pregnant and it takes me 20 min to walk to this store, which I go to pretty much every day, so do the math 20 min get there, hour of waiting and 20 min get back home. Thats nearly 2 hours waist of my time, being treated horribly, kicked out and walk home with none of the stuff I was going to buy.
