Oh anyone who's voicing their concerns just to let you know housing of the keys created another listing under the same location in attempt to hide the reviews just like they have two Facebook one of them with a bad review because they are that bad so anyone who post here post on their new listing these concerns as the new ones have one review that gives them praise but also advertises for other bad businesses in the keys

I moved up north and got a place faster than what they could do down there and it wasnt due to limited housing. I got a place down there, kicked out in a year due to neighbor basking in his felonies, get charged phony charges, pay for those only for me to get ran around in circles and my lawyer decided to close the file just to see what would happen and we saw they were coming up with a phone book of excuses but them being too prideful and all didnt see that that case was open shut for a reason. We never got a court date but we did get the jist that they were out of line and trying to make sure none of this ended up in court. My neighbor got arrested later and never once took that into consideration which is why he wanted it pitch black to begin with. Alot of stuff here is up to code, even have a swimming pool, JCpenny, etc whoever said that low income people are suppose to have a dump to live in need to be tared and feathered and anyone who says there is no issue in the key west properties is either paid by housing or need their head examined, lying or they are stupid.

And as far as their mantinance workers being "the best" they used to call me to figure things out as those aren't matinance workers those are people who get paid for labor meaning they have no training outside of things they do in their own home and why they have to call in other places like Garry's, plumbing, etc same reason why some air units are still broken especially when people live in fear of an eviction. I moved because not everyone is going to keep quite for the cesspool that is the florida keys.

And captain Rick is going to lie for his country as I have a handful of friends who live in porter place as well as people who know the family where they say there is zero inspections unless they specially are handpicked who they want to inspect, they are intimidated to make any complaints in fear of retaliated and due to the fact the only lawyers for these things are in maimi Dade because "it doesn't pay enough to deal with said cases" just like if you need a lawyer for other things other than criminal, medical malpractice and child custody you have to hunt one down outside of south Florida.

I had got a lawyer for one of their incidences and they went from bragging, to trying to play victim later and before the victim part they didn't want to risk being video taped or recorded.

It's a game to them till one has the resources to deal with them.

And the reviewer who said sounded like a teen in the background with their behavior wouldn't doubt.

Now I'm hearing that they changed hands where most of them went to work for florida keys outreach just like when may sans teachers went to work for the high-school till they got caught

Where i used to live down there people had roaches coming into their homes, neighbors threw food spoils in the yards, neighbors stole things, unscrewed bulbs and some of them weren't even suppose to be there as shown on video evidence with a tenant who claimed to be an employee and not to report that her ex boyfriend was pretty much destroying property and the moment I went through the proper channels nothing but lies, rudeness,etc came out of their lips and they even admitted that fuses were popping due to the age of the wiring where they took photos of what I owned, claimed it was going to some "experts" yeah your expects would ask me how to fix their own issues and what was found out there was an attempt to illegally evict me just to get ahold of property.

Even the outlets weren't properly grounded till...

Told no housing available when i tried to transfer my voucher here before hurricane Irma, then no housing available after calling every section 8 suggested place to rent.

If that wasn't bad enough my porting paperwork was lost and they have been of little to no help with anything. Terrible service and have gotten nowhere trying to get rental assistance with them.

update caseworker not responding to emails, so i requested a new case worker and informed the department they are not accomodating me and that i have complained to the miami field office about their inaction.

I would like to take further action against the agency but have not figured out how as of yet.

Also the positive reviews on here look like they are either impersonation/false reviews or they have no idea what is going on with this agency. I flagged them because there is also very little useful information in them and one has no words, the other just talks about how they want to live in key west, which has nothing to do with this agency, it is irrelevent to...

Sometime People like thing happen the way they want and not the way suppose to be, The housing authority is a federal program to help the need of people in this case person whit age of 62 or older, I don't think Anyone in the administration or any Employee Have any benefit to deny anyone the opportunity to lived in this building' On april 04/2019 I something my application for two person and i being inform that my application was accepted and putting on the whiting list I wait my turn like every one out and on March 06/2021 i moved to one of the apartment Now as every one know you has to qualify in order to your application be accepted, The reason i wright this is because some body make comment implying that you has to know someone in orden to be accepted, I thank everyone that work in this apartment complex for the wonderful job...
