Waffle Bear & Cafe Latino — Restaurant in Killeen

I don’t know how the flying __ this place has a high review. Our chair broke was sitting down. The carpet is literally black from mold and other old food.

The rice was hard. Everything around you is broken or destory The waitress is completely clueless She can’t talk in English OR Spanish The fish took almost a hour and it was black I ask for coffee and milk and they gave me American coffee. Three times we ask for our first drinks and we never got it. We ask for the check and had to pretend to walk out to give it to us The food had zero favor (the place was basically empty and she was texting so it wasn't a “busy” issue)

It’s a shame because people don’t know better and it’s located in Killeen where there is no real Hispanic places. Just ghetto places like this.

Pollo tropical will mop the floor with this place.

Like seriously. If you want to see the menu, you have to stand up and go to the front of this “restaurant” to look at it.

I'm 100% calling the health inspector on them. This is unbelievable....

This place isn't much to look at but it doesn't need to be when the food is as good as it is. It's clean, family friendly, laid back and we felt very comfortable there even with my severely autistic son and 2 year old daughter. The staff are friendly and timely with there service and the food! We'll all I can say about the food is it was amazing, my daughter has been talking about it for an hour non stop she loved it so much. With a mixture of both sweet and savory there is something for everyone at every time of the day. We will most certainly be going back. It is a perfect location just down the street from the fort hood Street gate on Rancier so you don't have to go far off post. Once people discover this gem I expect it to be...

When I went there last week for the first time and I've been in Killeen for a long time over 30 years or more and I finally went cuz I looked at the reviews and the reviews was nothing like I read the portions of food maybe larger there's some things that I was not serving that they had on the menu a lot of things the place was old and it wasn't the cleanest and it was barely any customers there it was only one and they look like family everything I picked off the menu he said he wasn't serving he did have a lot of waffles can eggs and sausage that was mainly one of the dishes that he had other than that the reviews did not add up nothing to what my experience in a lot of people that live in this area experience was so it was a...
