Dillard's — Local services in Killeen

I was in Dillards shopping for bathing suits for the end of summer, I had brought in a bag with some other bathing suit so I can kind of match some of the top through the ones j had just purchased a JCPenney. While looking at through the swimsuits, I noticed that the security guard had come where I was and pretended to having a conversation with one of the employees but he was actually watching me I didn't pay him any mind, I continue shopping but it is a constant reminder that I'm black and I always have to be on my Ps and Qs even though I'm doing nothing but shopping I just said to myself as he approaches me with anything I'm going to be nice and polite and I'm going sue Dillard's for profiling me and harassment. Nonetheless one of the females that was working there was very nice and polite she had no problem with me having other items in the store I appreciate the fact that you recognize their products and treated me with respect and dignity. It sad that being black in America people think that you're trying to steal, on my part I'm not even going to get mad because if you approached me about stealing I'm going to sue the pants off of you. I don't like thieves. And I don't like people who harass people for no reason except for the color...

I worked at Dillard's for many years. And worked for Dee Dee as a assistant store manger and as a store manager. She is very fair with all employees. She does go by the rules and regulations of Dillard's. I have seen her give many people chances and to be honest even more than most deserve. My self being retired of my service of over 20 years in the Army I understand. The Dillard's employees get paid real good all they have to do is their job. Many employees think they can do as they please. Everyone wants the money but only a few really want to work these days. Senada also is one of the hardest working manger in the Killeen DILLARD'S. She is very understanding of all the employees within Dillard's. I have seen her and Dee Dee work in different sections within the store to show sale associates how to do their job. Senada has unloaded the truck time and time again when someone didn't come to work along with the dock crew. I know for a fact they both put in long hours each and everyday. These two ladies I have great respect for and I know Dillard's needs more...

Dillard's hasn't changed in years. We got a gift card for our wedding 13 years ago and couldn't find anything that appealed to our family style. We found that card the other day and went back. Prices are still out of our comfort zone and the styles aren't us, but with a baby on the way we finally used the card to buy a few things for him.

The crazy thing about Dillard's in this mall is that it is divided... women and housewares are in one store and men and kids are in another store on the other side of the mall. That was a little surprise we didn't see coming. We went to the wrong Dillard's. They are identical in the outside, so we had no idea.
