My vehicle has been sitting at the Killeen location since My vehicle has been sitting at this Killeen location since July 2nd, and what I've experienced is not just poor service--it's a breakdown in integrity, communication, and accountability across Mavis locations. This issue began at the Midland, GA store, where I brought my car in for A.C. repairs. I was sent off with temporary cold air that failed within four months. No one explained the relationship between the compressor and condenser--basic knowledge that should've been disclosed upfront. Instead, I was given a partial fix that felt designed to fail. When I brought the vehicle to Killeen, I was told management had been trying to contact Midland to resolve the issue. That turned out to be false. After finally speaking with both RTMs, I learned there had been no communication at all. I've now paid for a rental car, waited over a month, and been told I'm responsible for the full cost of repairs--despite my loyalty and the fact that a previous repair was absorbed without issue. Only Phillip at the Killeen store showed professionalism and consistency. Everyone else--from store managers to regional leadership--either misled me or failed to follow through. I appreciate Matt Zellars reaching out, but stronger advocacy is needed. I've spent significant money with Mavis over the years, and to be treated like this is unacceptable. This experience has felt like a setup: partial fixes, vague communication, and a system that forces customers to return and pay more. If this isn't resolved, I will escalate publicly and formally. That includes filing complaints with the CFPB and BBB, and naming every store, manager, and technician involved. Customers deserve full assessments, honest communication, and competent care--not silence and blame-shifting.July 2nd, and what I've experienced is not just poor service--it's a complete failure of communication, accountability, and customer care across Mavis locations. Read moreMy experience at this place was highly disappointing. I arrived with one faulty TPMS sensor and was quoted $165 to replace it. When I declined, they reduced the price to $105. However, after waiting 45 minutes, it became clear they struggled to program the sensor. They informed me that the error code would continue to blink.
Upon inspecting my car, I discovered that not only did they fail to fix the original sensor, but they also damaged or caused an issue with my rear sensor, which had been working perfectly. To clarify, I entered with three functional sensors and left with only two. This was after I paid $110, as they assured me the job was complete. Only after payment did they admit the issue and suggested, “Driving on it should fix it.”
I followed their advice, drove, and returned. Thankfully, another employee was able to properly program and fix the sensors. However, after driving just five miles, my rear sensor failed again and remains nonfunctional to this day.
I would not recommend this place due to their unprofessionalism and incompetence. I rarely write reviews, but I paid $110 for no resolution and wasted two hours dealing with this...
Read moreWe were on a roadtrip from Maine to Killeen TX for a family get together. We encountered some tire issues and were pleased to see there was a recently opened Mavis tire store nearby. We had had, a previous and first time encounter with a Mavis store a few years ago in New York and they were very helpful at that time and we bought new tires. So, we went to the Killeen store and discovered an extraordinary level of excellent customer service. They immediately went to work repairing our tires, which were still under a free road repair coverage. They fixed the tires made them road worthy for the continuation of our vacation.
I came back the next day after thinking about it overnight and decided, we might as well just get new tires for the rest of our trip south and west and then returning to Maine.
They jumped right to it, made some suggestion and after a little research, we decided on the Michelin Cross Climate all season tires. Two hours later, we were back on the road and feeling uber confident that we had made the right decision.
Thank you Mavis tire and a particular thank you to the store Manager Matt, he was so knowledgeable...
