So far, so good! I’m enjoying my Planet Fitness experience at this location. I’ve been coming to this location for a week now and everything is great. Clean gym, friendly staff, affordable memberships, and convenient hours! I have to recommend this place!
I signed up for the black card membership via the Planet Fitness app. It was a pretty easy, straightforward process. I opted for the black card membership so that I could bring a guest occasionally, and use the spa amenities like the hydro massage. I have yet to use them, since I’m new, so I’ll probably update my review later down the line.
The staff is friendly and greets me both on entry and exit of the facility. I’ve been to this gym both during the day and late at night and the staff isn’t just standing around, but cleaning or making their rounds through the gym.
The gym isn’t huge, compared to something like LA Fitness, but there’s plenty of space and machines/equipment for use. Everything works properly, and I haven’t seen any broken machines or equipment that is out of order.
I like how clean this gym is and how they keep the paper towels and cleaning solutions well-stocked. I also like how the machines have pictured instructions and a numbered counter/timer to keep track of your workout. They also keep the crowd meter on the app up-to-date so you know when the gym is busy or not.
I would suggest updating the hours on the door. It still shows the old hours. But online and in-app are updated. Also, the only downside for me is, they don’t have Olympic power racks. But I guess most Planet Fitness gyms don’t, from what I read online. This location does have 4 Smith machines though.

Read moreI have been trying to cancel my membership for three days now because I am moving and have been told that I cannot because the employees are new and don’t know how. I was told on Monday October 9th 2023 that they would take my name and number down and have a manager contact me about canceling.
I didn’t mention anything Tuesday or Wednesday-hoping I would receive a call or they would stop me and let me know they know how to cancel the membership now.
Well fast forward to Thursday October 12th 2023 I come into the gym to workout and at the end of my workout I ask the employees if they figured out how to cancel my membership.
The employee with yellow/green hair stated that they did not know how still, I asked the other employee who stated they did not have access to do that. When I asked who had access I was told that the manager did but will be out Friday and Saturday and that I could come in Monday and cancel.
I explained that I m moving and would not be able to come in and they just stared at me blankly.
At this point you can tell they are just waiting to charge you again before you can end your membership. This is a complete joke and the management needs to train their employees. It’s unacceptable to have 4 different employees who do not know or have access to cancel a membership.
My money is being held hostage due to Planet Fitness unwillingness to cancel my membership.

Read moreTo whom it may concern, am writing you concerning an issue that took place at your location 3AM this morning with your manger Lucy on 8/7/2023. I arrived at the gym used my phone to sign in. The front desk attendant said to me your member ship indicates the name on the account is Deondra Williams, I said that’s me. She informed me that I didn't have a picture on my account I told her that I signed up on line. She then asked me to take a picture told her, I just wanted to work out didn’t want to take a picture this morning. She then asked me for a physical ID. I told her no one has ever asked me for an ID. I went to the car came back show the ID and proceeded to go workout. She told me she needed me to give her my ID. I asked why, to verify my information. So, I held it out for her to see and that was not good enough. Words were exchange, while word were being exchange another club member came in with no picture ID in the system or personnel ID she said nothing. When asked why she didn't stop that person, she said am dealing with you and I don’t have time to talk to him. When asked why no one else has ever asked me take a picture or show ID she said everyone at this location was new and doing their job wrong.
