Things started off great here. Bart was great to deal with while we were there, and we narrowed down our selection to two mattresses, one a bit more firm than the other. He assured us that if we didn't like the first one, we had 30 days to return it for the other. The more expensive one came with two free $100 pillows, and the other came with just one. We chose the more expensive and more firm one, but my wife didn't sleep well, so we chose to exchange it. That's when the problem started. Bart informed us we had to keep the mattress for 30 days to satisfy Sealy's requirements. While irritated, we agreed. My wife took care of the financials, and while he did exchange the difference in purchase price, we actually had to pay for the pillow we kept, instead of having one free as he originally stated. We were both a little ticked at that, and her having to wait an additional 3 weeks to exchange it. I had to leave town for work for a few weeks, so my wife set it all up, delivery and all. Since she works until 5:30, she had to arrange to take time off. Not a huge deal, until after 3 weeks of waiting, instead of calling and telling us there was an issue, I get a text that basically stated "I have to move your delivery from tomorrow until Thursday 3-5. Sorry for the inconvenience". Great! How impersonal is that? So, my wife has to re-arrange her entire work schedule, AGAIN, to get a mattress she can actually sleep on, and guess what? Yep, after taking more time off work, waiting for two hours for them to show up, they finally arrive at 6:45 in the evening. And what did we get for our time, effort to stick with our agreement, even though they didn't? Yep, nothing at all except a half hearted apology when my wife called to find out where the delivery people were. "Oh, we're very busy with deliveries today." I'm upset that my wife took off over 5 hours from work, unnecessarily, lost wages, and had to pay the pillow we kept without any concern from Bart at all. Absolutely ridiculous,...
Read moreIt’s been about a month or 2 since we bought the mattresses and they are still like brand new!! We needed 3 twin mattresses and decided to check out Mattress Plus. We were pleasantly greeted and Bart was such a knowledgeable employee. He has such awesome patience answering all the questions we had. He helped us decide what twins would work best for growing kids(teens sharing a room) while what deals he could give us to save some $$$. We also bought encased mattress protectors from this store too.They were actually cheaper at this store than Walmart and online! Delivery of mattresses was on time,and they were in and out within seconds. So quick we didn’t get the chance to properly thank them!! The teen boys love their mattresses! They sleep so comfortable on their new sturdy bunk beds(bunk bed not bought from this store) From now on Mattress Plus will be our forever bed store!!! They have a great selection of beds ranging from different price points. The layout of store is easy to maneuver around too.
Edit: We just bought a entire new twin bed set for my teen daughter and she loves it. Again Bart was a pleasure to speak with and since we dealt with him helping us pick out the 3 mattresses mentioned above just months prior he had a feel about the type of twin bed my teen daughter wanted. Since she came helping pick out teen boys mattresses.This delivery he set up the bed(frame,headboard,box spring & mattress) within minutes. So fast like the Flash. Never have I seen a bed set up so fast! Lol.In and out. This time of course we did remember...
Read moreI really give 2 1/2 stars....went in bought two sets, one twin one queen everything went great, Bret was very friendly and helpful...come delivery date, between 12-2, they showed up at 2 which was fine, they brought me two twins...ok so Bret should have gone back to the store which is around the corner and grab the right one....nope he admitted to his mistake said he would be back with the correct one in 1 1/2 hrs, because a customer on st simons island was the next delivery. I asked if I had a choice he laughed and said yea and left....almost four hours later and close to closing time and after having rearranging my schedule because of HIS mistake, they finally returned with the correct bed, I had called to discuss this and asked if he could at least throw in a couple of cheap pillows to compensate for the all day wait...was told by Mike that he would have to ask his manager..who is Bret, who I understand is also the owner...well when Bret showed up he was short, rude, and obviously irritated.
