I need to tell you about my experience buying a Polywood sectional and ottoman from the Porch+Patio Store. To say my experience at The Porch+Patio Store (and with Becky, specifically) was the greatest experience of my life would not be an exaggeration... oh, except for the marriage and couple of kids part... and maybe a few other events... okay, so, to say that my experience at The Porch+Patio Store (and with Becky, specifically) was the greatest RETAIL experience of my life would not be an exaggeration... Phew! In case the wife reads this, that clarification may just save my bacon. Anywho, I've gotta tell you, Becky was incredibly informative, sending me pictures and making thoughtful recommendations. You see, I live outside of Nashville, TN (woot woot), so popping by the store to look at color combos and checking out finishes isn't exactly in the cards. (Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I've met the owners and they are fan-freaking-tastic, as well!)

Okay, so I pepper Becky with questions about different models, fabrics, warranty questions, and recipe recommendations (just making sure you're still reading). She is SO helpful and politely and excitedly answers my questions. It actually felt like SHE was getting the furniture with how excited she was! And, honestly, I know she has a bunch of other customers who spend a lot more than I did. This Polywood furniture is NOICE! My wife and I landed on the Edge sectional in Vintage Coffee with Dune Burlap cushions. We just loved the addition of the texture to make it feel a little more like wood furniture. Becky assured me of our selections, noting that these are some of her favorite finishes. She explained that there would be some assembly, but I'm a handy dude, so she wasn't scaring me. Then - get this - she drop ships it to us at our home outside of Nashville! The FedEx Freight guy was also fantastic, but he'll get his own review if the opportunity presents itself. The delivery showed up a few days earlier than I expected, so that was a sweet surprise. So far, so great!

The product arrives, thoughtfully packed, on pallets and well-protected, and the real fun begins. I'm opening the boxes, pulling the pieces out. It feels like Christmas morning! As excited as Becky was about the product and the colors during the process, she still undersold it! The product is awesome! Never have I seen anything so majestic since I first laid eyes on that magical Luck Dragon from The Neverending Story! Absolutely beautiful! Oh, and I could have taught our sweet puppy to put this stuff together, and she has no opposable thumbs. Seriously, each section was like four bolts (corner piece was eight), and boom. Everything lined up perfectly. My wife was shocked at how quickly I had it together. I've been trying to convince her for 20+ years that I'm really handy, yet she still gave Polywood the credit.

One last thing I forgot to mention: the drop shipping was cheap AND I avoided sales tax since I live in a state without a physical location. Fabulous experience start to finish with this place! They have a giant showroom with high quality outdoor furniture from the best brands. We were pretty sure we wanted to upgrade our pool and patio furniture to Polywood, but we needed some guidance. Becky was so incredibly helpful with suggestions and information about style, color, and comfort, and once she explained how easy Polywood is to care for and hiw great their warranty is, we were absolutely positive! Since we're not local we had to have our items shipped - the whole process was a breeze. Polywood assembly is super easy, and we are beyond pleased with our loungers, tables, and chairs. I bought a table and an umbrella from this store today after multiple visits. Otis and Susan were incredibly customer service oriented. I had questions and called Otis a couple of times and he was always polite and informative. We just bought a place on Amelia and were hoping to get something we can use on our deck. Things are so backed up it was going to be 3 months. Otis broke a set to sell us the table and I know retailers hate to do this so it was very appreciated.
