WOK THIS WAY: I drive over 35 miles across the state line for this food, and let me tell you, it's a journey worth taking. If you're craving some mouthwatering Chinese cuisine, trust me, this place is a hidden gem. This fantastic place is under new management, they've taken this joint to a whole new level. In just a few short months, they've managed to become the rulers of the Chinese food kingdom in this territory. I stumbled upon China Wok by chance – after some retail shopping at the nearby stores, my stomach led me to this gastronomic paradise.…. My usual trip involves ordering the yummy Lomein. Sometimes, I go for the House Veggies version, and other times, I dive into the sea with their tantalizing seafood option. Both types of ingredients are so incredible, it's like a flavor explosion in your mouth! ….. But wait, there's more! The hot and sour soup is a masterpiece of flavors. It's savory, spicy, piquant, and smooth all at the same time. The broth is so thickened and creamy, it's like a cozy blanket wrapping around your taste buds…..Now, let me introduce you to my absolute favorite – the Singapore noodles. Oh boy, these noodles are spicy enough to clear your sinus and transport you to the bustling streets of Singapore. Who needs a plane ticket when you have this dish? And of course, we can't forget about the legendary General Tso's Chicken. It's so good, I can only salute the General himself. "Salute, General – Sir!!"……..I always bring my own bento lunch boxes to carry out the hot foods. The bigger-sized containers are my secret weapon for enjoying a feast in the car while making my way back to sunny Florida. The mouthwatering aroma of the food keeps teasing my nose. I can practically hear the food whispering, "Hey there, hungry traveler, why wait when you can devour this goodness right here, right now?"……Oh, the struggle is real! - - trying to resist the siren call of those heavenly scents. Sure, some people might give me weird looks as they drive past me, but hey, I'm too busy savoring the flavors to care. So next time you see a car cruising by with a hungry passenger indulging in a feast fit for an emperor, just know - - I have just left “China Wok”!!......But here's a word of caution – this family-run business is no ordinary place. They are master thieves, stealing hearts left and right! Don't let their harmless smiles and charming personalities fool you. Once you step foot in this place, you'll leave with something missing from you – your heart! So beware, my friends, for this place is not just a restaurant, it's a den of heart stealers. Be cautious when using this business. They not only leave out make components of your meal (You know, small things like forgetting to put the sweet and sour sauce in the bag wth your sweet and sour chicken) the food was also rather dry. We called in a carry-out order, the female cashier tried sticking a 20% tip on the credit card charge... Which was not on the signed receipt. I saw the charge in my banking ap. When I returned and approached "Will", the manager, he said that's impossible. I showed him on a calculator the difference from the signed receipt to my bank reflected charge amount... Guess what.. Exactly 20% difference. I asked him if he would like to fix this now or not. He denied any wrongdoing again. However could not explain why I was charged more than the signed receipt. Two days later I checked the online account again. This time I see a different transaction numbe for the right amount.. Huge rave for China Wok and their customer service! We ordered from them via DoorDash last night. After our order was picked up the restaurant called me to say that the Dasher had missed part of our order, and that they’d tried to call them but had no luck so they were running it down to us themselves. That alone impressed me, but once our order arrived with the Dasher we determined that the only thing missing was a single egg roll. I don’t think we even would have noticed had they not called to let us know. The China Wok employee was less than 5 minutes behind the Dasher with the egg roll and apologized again, and we discovered they’d thrown in an order of cream cheese wontons for free!
