Ship 2 Shore Seafood & Steaks — Restaurant in Kingsland

Well I haven't gone to Ship 2 Shore for a little while due to there being a problem with my order about 6 months ago anyone that knows me knows that I do not eat medium rare or rare my food must be well done so I believe I done a review about that so I decided to give them another chance again because I truly do like the atmosphere and the food so I went back last month and I explained to the young lady what happened with my last experience so to make sure that my steak was well done and which she did it was cooked to perfection so today we decided to go back to Ship 2 Shore so I called in my order which they told me will be about 20 minutes so I am already in the car on my way there driving from Florida to Georgia to get a good steak and seafood dinner and this was a carry-out so I checked my food when she brought it out and my steak was pink with blood dripping from it so the young lady calls the manager and she takes the steak back now I am waiting additional 20 to 25 minutes for the second steak and when she brought it out I was like let me check so Miss Mindy brings me a knife and a fork so I can cut the steak cut into it and blood is just drizzling out of it and it is Pinker than the last one so she wanted to know if I wanted her to take it back and have them to cook it again no I've been there basically an hour waiting for my food my husband's food gotten cold because they had to redo my food and I'm supposed to wait longer so it was as if she got a little upset well I will refund your money yes because what is going on you guys use to make perfect steaks now it's like nobody understands what well done means oh and if I didn't mention Mindy is the manager which is also the same lady that a little over six months prior to my last order being screwed up when I drove all the way home and found that my steak was undercooked and call the restaurant to complain about it I spoke with her Mindy and she asked me if I wanted to bring it back no I just drove 45 minutes round trip her responds to me then was what is it that I want her to do simple make it right the next time that I come back which she did which was still all good I'm looking at maybe she just had a bad day today so and saying all of this my money was refunded but as of now I'm not too sure I will be going back to Ship 2 Shore...

I wish that I could give a 4 star rating on this restaurant. I was in town on 4/7/18 for a family gathering & my family recommended this place after having a birthday celebration there the following week. Well, there were 11 in our party. We were seated quickly but right at the entrance area. We didn't complain as we were enjoying each other & we had 2 small children with. Our waitress was Jasmin. We ordered & some of us had orders on different tickets. The soup and drinks came out then we were forgot about as she hurried around us seeing to other tables. The kids started falling asleep but were well behaved. Other families came in and was getting their food before us. We were waiting at least 45-1 hour. We finally said something and Jasmin got very argumentative & walked away. I have owned my own food truck 7 served 1000's in a day in Atlanta and I have never treated my customers badly or made them feel as if they are to blame if I'm tired or having a bad day. I will say the food was very delicious but I don't think I will dine in again ever. Please do better because Jasmin evidently doesn't care for her...

This place is really good The seafood is expertly prepared. The fish are flaky tender and cooked to perfection, the shrimp are also very good everything was cooked to perfection. The shrimp were very tasty and not overcooked they were tender just the way they're supposed to be The fish was excellent also. I had the all you can eat and usually the first plate is all I can eat but I definitely had the obligatory second helping. I left out of their stuffed. I'm glad the hush puppies weren't done or I would have eaten those cuz I love hush puppies. They're hush puppies were kind of doughy in the middle but the shrimp were so good I'm glad the hush puppies sucked I was able to eat more shrimp. Prices were reasonable it was like 22 bucks for the all you can eat fish and shrimp. The first round you can have anything you want like blackened or grilled or fried but the second round you got to get fried that's just their rule. I've been there a couple times before I left this review and they are very consistent. Service was fast and friendly and my waitress took good care of me checking back regularly for reorders...
