Boost mobile is a good carrier but avoid this store at all costs. UPDATE: I strictly buy online now as JC is too far away. I went in once more on a promotion for my hubby to switch carriers and this store tried to rip me off $30 (phone price) on a promotion I found online available at all Boost stores for switching carriers. JC and Bristol didn't try to rip us off. I asked the FB Boost mobilr rep and he said that's for all stores not select stores and made a report on this store on my behalf. Trying to pocket money. First horrible experience posted now.. Original post.. I had a HORRIBLE experience here. Okay so the manager was suppose to save a phone for me until 1 PM and I called a few times even when I was on my way there. I get there at 11:45 and one of the employees had sold the phone 10 minutes prior. The manager states he'll give me a good deal on another phone when he finishes with the customer he had. Well he finished with the customer and was taking other customers ahead. He took all of them ahead of me. I'm thinking odd. I hope no one else comes through the door because I'll be here all day. Okay so here we are where I am the only one left (busy which is rare and 2 hours later FINALLY) He actually says what was I helping you with?? I told him the phone you saved was sold. He offered me a few others but at no discount and I couldn't afford them. The phone he was saving was a promotion and a new phone and was only $30. I told him all I had was $40. He said we only have these 3 phones in the store and the cheapest was $60. I was in tears.. Did he not remember saying he was going to give me a deal? Another customer comes in so he takes that customer while I try to decide. I only have $40. Note that I had been here hours while they help other people. So he helped another guy and he was just paying a phone bill. I stand in the corner. He again helped me and I said I only have $40 until I get paid can you please help me with something. Could you give me the cheapest phone that's $60 for $40 as you said you would help me with a deal and $40 is everything I have and the phone I was getting was $30 promotion YOU SOLD MY PHONE TO SOMEONE ELSE and it's worth more then the $60 phone you have. . He said I don't remember saying I would give you a deal in a rude tone. I mean I was polite.. Anyway another customer x3 comes in and he takes them. Okay so I stand in the corner crying at this point, silently. The customer leaves and he goes back and gets a phone he asks if I'll take it I can have it. It was used but looked fairly new with some scratches on the battery cover but looked new. He was starting to see how upset in tears I was so he sounded nice. I said YES. Okay so that was nice but I was there from 11 until closing with them taking other customers etc and he had already promised me a deal since he promised to hold a phone for me and they sold it. Okay so this store HAS A LOW SELECTION OF PHONES AND ONLY A FEW INSTOCK AT ANY TIME. PHONES AT WAL-MART ARE CHEAPER. I DIDN'T KNOW AT THE TIME. I HAD BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR 5 YEARS SO UPGRADING BUT THEY HAD NO PHONES TO UPGRADE BUT THE ONE PHONE THAT THEY SOLD OUT OF THAT WAS PROMISED TO HOLD FOR ME. THE STORE IS PRACTICALLY EMPTY WITH NO CHAIRS OR BATHROOM WHICH APPEARS LIKE AN EMPTY BUSINESS WITH JUST A COUNTER AND REGISTER.. This has made me consider leaving Boost for another company. Oh and I got out of the store near closing and had to call a taxi as my friend had to be at work so still lost out on ten bucks. Beware.. Please go to another...
Read moreI have been with Boost for several years but I am leaving. The guy in the store can't be trusted. My friend,my brother and myself went in to see about us getting on the 5 lines for $100. My friend and brother got insurance on new phones and thought everything was good. A month later my brother got bill for $160. When we went to store he said oh no you don't pay all of it. Boost takes care of it. Then he ask if my brother wanted insurance on his phone says he didn't get it the month before that the other did. He was talking about my son. I didn't add him to a week or so later. The guy at the store remembers us 4 coming in. I guess he thought because we were older he could get over on us. Well we aren't that old.lol Paid what we owed and left. The guy at store it could take 30 min for it to be back on. An hour later go back to store and was told we owed $8.00 more. I disagreed. He then allows he has lost money on us cause we had no plan and there was nothing outside saying anything about 5 lines for $100. Oh yes I just dropped my plan I had for my son and I that was $82 so I could pay over a hundred . This guy was very rude. I can take my money somewhere that won't lie and...
Read moreThis place is awful! I've been with Boost for years and wanted to add a line for my husband. I called ahead twice and also on my way (7 minute drive) to make sure she had the phone he wanted. I got there and she didn't want to wait on me whatsoever and also the phone she said she had in stock 7 minutes prior wasn't there. I tried to talk to her about another phone and she ignored me and waited on 3 other people knowing we were in a hurry. She had no intention of speaking with me further. From now on I'll take my business to Best Buy or another Boost store. This place is a joke. The least she could have done was check to make sure the phone was in stock. She couldn't do that. She wasn't busy there was no one in the store. I had already given her all my information so that when we got there she could just activate and go. I personally could have activated it myself I worked for Sprint for years and it's not rocket science. I'll never go back again and recommend that you take your Boost...
