Burlington — Local services in Kingsport

Burlington is a great store with lots of awesome prices on home deco, clothes, shoes, etcetera. A lot of The Deco they carry is different from what you see at other places. (Most of my little Buddha statues came from here.) They carry brand names at a fraction of the cost you would pay in bigger stores or malls. It's quality products and not knock offs. This is why Burlington is usually my go-to for clothes. When I was working as a CNA, I didn't get my scrubs anywhere else. The Grey's anatomy brand fit comfortably and were cheaper than anywhere. We also love Burlington for kids clothes especially at back to school time. (Just keep in mind that some clothes usually run a little smaller and aren't always true to size) Unfortunately though, my last trip to Burlington in early August was a bust. Most of the clothes had already been picked through, leaving a lot of the shelves pretty bare in the the sizes we needed and I wasn't able to find a single item for back-to-school at this time. I'll definitely be back to shop at Burlington...

Update to previous review from 7 months ago. Still no air conditioning, still fans everywhere. Carpet isn’t clean still. The workers were working very hard in that heat. I felt sympathetic for them having to sweat in a store that clearly can afford a working hvac system. This used to be a good store but if they haven’t fixed the AC in this long and are still using fans, they will never fix it. My original review follows: I didn’t get to shop today, the store was in bad condition. I didn’t want to walk on the carpet where the purses, soaps and beauty products are because it was so dirty and stained. It was really hot in there and the further back in the store I got, the hotter it was. Fans were sitting everywhere in the floor but not turned on. Nothing was clean, the ceiling looked moldy, the bathrooms were real bad and in need of cleaning. We left fast and won’t be back. I hope someone actually reads this because it used to be an...

First let me respond to the last entry/review that calls themselves mask police?! If you don't like living here in Kingsport TN- move away!!!We moved to TN to have more freedom!!! I happen to love it here. Moved here 2 years ago and people/ location are friendly and helpful. You sound like someone who would enjoy CA more!! Did you ask that woman for permission to post her photo online? Who are you to chastise people? Are you this perfect? Besides, please do your research - a mask will not protect you from covid. My husband got it from a coworker and his company is very strict about following covid guidelines and they all wear masks!! Another important fact, most people end up with no or mild symptoms !
