I recently had the pleasure of visiting Beyond Hair for a men's haircut, and I must say that my experience was absolutely fantastic. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had an exceptional visit.

Leaving a review since I don't plan on coming back. Don't come here if you're weak willed and prone to getting upsold easily. I came in only wanting a bang trim and ended up getting a full haircut. Maryam kept recommending I do things like getting highlights, buying expensive products, etc... I gave in and got the full haircut for something like $65. She was talking about going on a vacation, and since she was so friendly I also ended up giving a tip, which put me at $80 out of pocket when I only wanted to spend max $20 for a bang trim. After getting home I couldn't help feeling bad. For days. Even now, almost a month later after my cut, I keep thinking back to the situation enough to write a review.

She sent me out of the hair salon with still wet hair (I'd expect if I spent that much getting my hair cut, that I'd at least have fully dried hair when I leave), and I felt so pressured to spend more and get products, etc.. This was my third time at the salon, which I chose out of convenience/location. Though the ladies are very friendly and I'm satisfied with the haircut itself, I'm not that hard to please and rather just feel bad about the experience overall. I understand you need to run your business and make money, but I really don't feel like I want to come here again and wouldn't recommend other people who are easily pressured (and then feel bad about being so easily pressured later) like...

Azar has been cutting my hair for as long as I remember. Easy to say 10+ years. I’ve never walked away frustrated or disappointed. Her experience and attention to details results in premier quality work every single time. I was very sad when her salon had to shut down during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic and I had to pay more than double the price for a haircut. Her work is right up there with barbers that charge $60-80, so $30 is a STEAL!

I am very excited for her new place, which is right down the road from the franchise establishment she previously worked at. This makes it convenient for loyal and new patrons!
