I was a very excited first timer to this spot. Until I arrived.
The service was late even after the appointment was made online (and held with a credit card) so I waited an extra 30 minutes before they put me in a chair. My friend also had an appointment for her nails that they failed to start until she waited for 40 minutes.
I was pretty excited to see the product they used in the chair tub for your feet as it was a fun gelly mixture... However the water added was way too hot so when I put my feet in it was like napalm trying to get the hot gel off my feet. There was no massage involved and she was not careful even filing as she was not wanting to be there... she was so reckless that I actually mentioned she was pinching underneath my toes with her long ass acrylics.
Never in my life have I experienced a nail tech that had some random issue with me. It was so bad that she stopped whatever she was doing to pull the receptionist aside, takes her outside and points my direction (I can see her mind you) and discussed something. To then have them walk back in together to my chair, to look at something before she went back to me as a client. Talk about feeling uneasy. Was it that I hadn't shaved my legs in 2 days? Was it because my feet were burned, I dunno. What I do know is she didn't want to be there and her boss pretty much made her. The solution should be simple, switch out the tech if she doesn't want to do her job.
On top of that the receptionist begins calling my phone while I'm sitting in the chair to inform me that I am late to my appointment.
I attributed some of these things as new business kinks, but some not. Typically I'm one to just give it another try but I've got better option in the area for better service. I would've tipped next to nothing but my friend snuck in and paid for me while she waited to be seated as it was my birthday and while I was distracted with burning feet skin.
TLDR: they blatantly and very obviously talk about you to the other techs and the service is less than mediocre for the price. Annoyingly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI LOVE my nails. I got SO many compliments at my husbandās company holiday party tonight. My booking experience was amazing. I went to their website and there was a number to text. I explained my situation and what I needed and they responded promptly. Even while getting my service done, their communication was awesome. I was able to send pictures to the number ahead of time of colors and designs that I wanted. They had the color I wanted, but when I walked in, I abandoned my idea because they have cuter ones than the ones I sent! I also appreciated how clear their prices are. Theyāre also very sanitary. They open a new set of tools per client. I had a hair appointment coming up and they stayed mindful to that as they worked on my toes and nails. The nail techs were really careful, attentive, and took their time to ensure they did a good job. My fingered are gel with added jewels, and my toes were just regular polish. I donāt really care much of what goes on my toes, but I will say that I learned a lesson. If you do regular polish, it will take much longer to dry. So next time, Iāll be sticking to gel even for my toes because of the drying time. Nonetheless, my toes turned one beautifully! Some other nice touches to this nail salon were the free water or sodas and snacks! When you visit this salon, I would set expectations to understand that this is a little different from your traditional nail salon. Their colors are trendy, updated, and the nail technology is advanced enough to do all the fun stuff from jewels, chrome, catās eye, etc! Last thing that I want to mention is to ensure you give yourself enough to do your nails here. If youāre doing a special design or going all out, give yourself about 2-3 hrs. My appointment took 3 hrs. I had some old gel removed from my toes and fingers, had a mani pedi, did the second tier pedicure (includes foot mask and massage), and went all out on my nails. I canāt wait to go back and try out new colors...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve come here twice and regretted it after each visit. The first time I came in to get a gel-x set removed. I will say, the salon is beautiful, they have amazing polish options, and the tools are very sanitary. However, the service is horrible. Gel-X should always be soaked off after drilling down the top layer, but they drilled the entire thing down and damaged my nails so bad, they were extremely thin in some areas and breaking. I assumed I got a bad technician, especially given all the good reviews this salon has.
So, I came a second time to get press-ons removed and to get a regular OPI manicure. When I first entered, they told me that the base manicure price has been raised from $30 to $40, despite the sign on the front desk and website saying $30, and they said that it just hadnāt been updated. I agreed to continue with the service, and again the technician (different from the first) was extremely tough on my nails and kept trying to bend and rip the nails off. She was very harsh on the cuticles and I left bleeding on one finger.
My nails were very thin again after this and every single corner on my nails has broken off since then. I went back less than a week later, showing them how bad the polish application was, and how my thumb nail had cracked down the middle. I asked if they could repair it or refund the money for the service and they said the owner would call me the next day to figure this out. This was almost a week ago and I still havenāt received any call attempting to fix this. Additionally, the price for an OPI manicure still says $30 everywhere, including in the salon. I ended up going to another salon after who said that the previous cuticle removal was done too aggressively and my nail plate is damaged.
I would highly recommend choosing a different salon over this, there are much better...
