2017 they put in a new boat launch system that cost $10 to put in, another $10 to take your boat back out or you can get their annual pass at $60 if your a resident and $120 for non-resident. Here is the best part... They are so incompetent that you have to drive to the City of Kirkland office which by the way is only open from 8 to 5 during the week to renew your annual boat launch card. Unfortunately you cannot renew online, by phone or at the machine at the boat launch which is happy to take your cash or credit card. The Kirkland marina has need to be updated for a while now. The last years our bait was left over night with ONLY 2 cleets for tie up our family boat has been banged up to the point it's unsafe to use. We have paid out lots of money to get fixed to be saftley used again. The need for update is urgent.
