Great little Marina in downtown Kirkland. We have lived in this area for years and have enjoyed this park pre-k (pre kids). Now that we have children, we go to the Marina during Community events. We watched the Kirkland City 4th of July fireworks from this Marina (this is the most popular spot to watch them from), and could see 3 other displays at the same time. The Marina Pavilion features a concert series for most of the Summer. The large grassy area is great for blankets, picnic chairs, coolers. There are several docks, and a smaller boat launch. Small public restrooms, picnic benches, and sitting areas along the sidewalk. A little known fact about Kirkland is that all the parks in the city close at 10:00 p.m. if they touch water. And, they close at 11:00 p.m. if they do not touch water. That is except for Marina Park and Heritage Park. Both of these parks are open 24 hours. That being said, I've included some pictures of the pavilion at Marina Park at night along with the water line and Bellevue across the lake. The views from the pavilion across the water are amazing. Read morea great waterfront view of DT Seattle and Queen Anne. parking is paid after 4:00PM I believe. Farmers markets on Wednesdays and stand up paddleboard rentals most days that i've been there.
