Let's see, Santorini Greek Grill in simplest terms is a place I'll love going back to any time I'm in the mood for a gyro while on the east side as it is the best gyro place I've found on the east side. Why? Well first off the whole gyro as a combined entity was just so delicious. Perfect combination of meat, veggies and sauce. I had gone with the extra meat option, but that was a little too much. A normal amount would still have been at more than most gyro places.

The individual ingredients them selves were all really tasty. The meat was tasted great and were perfectly sliced. The veggies all tasted fresh and the sauce had the perfect flavor. The fries were really yummy.

Best part of all their prices were reasonable for what you got.

Over all a 6 out of 5...

OPAHHHHHHH……I’d compare this to a chipotle, wasn’t really special. Food seems fresh, but wasn’t the best seasoned. Truly was disappointed, but I try to sweeten my experience with a baklava; but after one bite I had to throw it away because it was so stale and soggy. When I mentioned how old and wet the baklava were the employees seemed to laugh at me. Also in the middle of my meal, I noticed a really bad odor and all the employees disappeared. Not sure if they were doing drugs or not, but it wasn’t a good smell. It wasn’t burn food smell either, and it did not smell like cigarettes or weed. I will say the music here was Bumpin, and I liked all the peaceful...

Tried the gyro with lamb and beer, spanakopita, "Greek" fries, a side of falafel, and an eggplant dip that was a lot like baba ganoush.

The gyro was quite good, but about on par with most other places I have eaten it. The Greek fries were okay, but honestly nothing special — basically frozen fries with some sliced cheese, which I think was feta. The falafel was fairly dry and seemed like it might have also been a frozen product, which is unfortunately par for the course at most places. The most disappointing was the spanakopita, which was soggy and dry.

Honestly, not a BAD place, and the staff is friendly, but I will try other...

TL:DR - Not what you need out of a place which primarily serves gyros. 5/10. It's fine, but, it's not correct. In America, most gyro meat comes from Kronos™, and as such you must consider the other items. Not enough vegetables or sauces, unimpressive sides, lacking beverages, and miserly practices. At large it is a cart that has grown roots but never improved. More olives, more tzatziki, some peppers, a real beer, maybe ouzo, or pack it in and go away.

Highly recommended! Food is great and the is super kind as well. Food is put together right in front of you and they never scoff at a special request. Please do not mistake this for your average fast food. I wait to get my gryo, greek fries, or over rice dish from here because no one else matches it. Worth a try any day especially souvlaki lamb.
