Stopped by for a weeknight dinner (made prior reservations) and this place was packed when we walked in around 8:30 PM. We were immediately seated and loved the ambience and vibe of this place. The menu looked short and crisp - which I always appreciate since it helps limit my confusion. We ordered the following items: Oysters: Excellent fresh raw oysters with a bergamot hibiscus granita. We liked this one. Bread & Butter: The bread was a tad bit chewy but the black garlic butter was good. Albondigas: Pork + Lamb meatballs served with roasted red pepper and hazelnut hummus-y spread. We liked this dish. Mushroom Pasta with Shrimp + Chicken: Our fav dish of the night. The creamy sauce with truffle oil and mushrooms was hands down one of the best mushroom pastas I have eaten in my life. We ordered additional prawns and chicken and they were cooked to perfection. Overall I will crave this dish and be back for this. Cocktails: Monkey Paw & Robert Jordan. Both these drinks were delicious but I loved the Monkey Paw a tab bit more than the Robert Jordan. This place clearly is a very good cocktail bar.
Presentation for all dishes was on point and the portions were good for 2 if you order multiple starters but a single entrƩe. It is an expensive place for sure so be ready for that fat check. This place felt too loud to have a date night but can be a cool place to make dinner plans with friends. Service was top notch and food was out pretty soon. The restaurant was packed, but we were still able to get our drinks in a pretty reasonable time frame despite the server being concerned it may take a while. Our table tried the steak tartare (phenomenal) with cocktails to start. All the cocktails were delightful and the steak tartare was out of this world. I don't live in the area, but I would come alone and order wine and this dish for myself if I'm ever in town. Dinner entrees: Lamb Shank, Salmon (appears to not be on the menu now a couple weeks later) and mine was the Lamb Ragu. I did not get offered a bite of the Lamb Shank (rude haha), but it looked DIVINE. I did try the Salmon which not only looked beautiful plated, but tasted delicious, and my lamb ragu was a burst of different flavors and textures. The campatelle pasta was made from beets and spinach and there was a smoked beet puree that was painted on the plate. I'm not sure what all was placed on top of the pasta, but it helped lighten the heaviness of the pasta. To be honest, I'm not a beet fan, but this dish called my name, and it certainly did not disappoint. I ate beyond being full and had zero regrets.

I really wanted to order EVERYTHING on the menu, but eventually ran out of steam and barely had room for their spin on the ChocoTaco (skipping the ChocoTaco wouldāve been a huge mistake). The Arancini was the best Iāve had; perfect size and bursting with flavor. I loved the Smokey element with some of the dishes, like the duck. Iām a (self proclaimed) brussel sprout connoisseur and these were perfectly cooked paired with a sauce that complimented them perfectly. They make their pasta fresh and the ice cream is house made. These details speak to the pride, quality and creativity they put into their food. Every dish had a some sort of sauce that made it stand out from similar dishes Iāve had at other restaurants. The service was prompt and impeccable. We were never without anything. Our water was always full, our plates were always cleared, he had what we needed when we needed it and never had to ask for anything. I know it sounds simple, but as a former restaurant employee, I know how special it is when servers can anticipate a guestās needs.
