Lakeside Christian Church — Local services in Kirkland

I visited because we had some friends who attended and their daughter was singing. It was a Sunday where they involved the youth in the service. I enjoyed the atmosphere where there were so many kids involved in so many aspects of the service. Singing and worship, some of the initial aspects of the message, a baptism, etc... Many people where involved in the service and it felt like a place where you could be yourself and be accepted and taught and encouraged and learn about God without everything needing to be perfect and polished, but you could be human. I visited from out of town and found the people very friendly and welcoming. I spoke with a few parents who said their children enjoyed the children’s activities. The church is Biblically based and the pastor preached from the Bible. Contemporary music with guitars, drums and worship. (Not loud rock).
