Walked in and loved the morning energy from customers and wonderful lady behind the register. I orders a 12oz Carmel macchiato with an extra shot to jump start my day, TO GO, along with a delicious blackberry muffin and a sandwich for later at work. The wait was not long at all, things got out pretty fast surprisingly with the morning rush. But then after receiving my pastries and sandwich from the cashier with positive energy, I was deeply disappointed by the barista chic. I understand people have terrible mornings/days and can alter their mood but as I went to pick up my sandwich I noticed it was on a cup so I kindly told her yes that’s me but it was to go, she didn’t look happy about that and checked her screen and realized it was to go, she then just dumped it in a 12oz cup pouring some into the sink in the process. I would have totally understood if she APOLOGIZED for the mistake first or at least acknowledged it first, but she just pour whatever she could in the cup and dropped the cup counter, no word, no apology, NOTHING!! I then looked at her and said thank you and walked away since I was running late for work.

Thruline Coffee Co. - Redmond, WA ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thruline Coffee Co. is hands down one of the best coffee spots in Redmond! Their coffee is top-notch—expertly brewed with deep, rich flavors that make every sip a treat. Whether you’re grabbing a quick cup or settling in for some downtime, this place has you covered. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to recommend something based on your preferences. The atmosphere is warm and modern, making it an excellent spot to relax, catch up with friends, or even get some work done. Their pastries and snacks are also a highlight—fresh, delicious, and a perfect match for their amazing coffee. If you’re in the Redmond area and haven’t checked out Thruline yet, you’re missing out

So this cafe was ok. I think my hot chocolate was amazing but the thing that weirded me out was the walls. All along the walls are a bunch of white people... All in black and white... Just their faces. I read in some cultures that black and white is reserved for funeral portraits, so I try to avoid them. Now looking at the walls just COVERING this place is the creepiest thing. Also think about how this makes someone feel if they are NOT white. It's pretty scary to feel not welcome in a coffee shop of all places.

We have always loved this place, the coffee and food. However, today I had the worst cappuccino I can ever remember. I order a VERY dry cappuccino eith a little sugar. When I saw it there was a limp thin foam on the top. I said I ordered a very dry one, what happened? She was very defensive (younger generation) and I had to seem to EXPLAIN what a dry cappuccino was. Instead of saying, "I am so sorry, let me make it right.", she gave me an attitude and started to make some foam. I told her my daughter was a batista and I am one (almost) and suggested a better way to get a nice thick dense foam She DID NOT like or accept it. She asked if I just wanted more foam and said, that would be just great.

Instead she made me a new one and it still wasn't really dry, forgot the sugar and it was watery and just plain horrible. I wondered, because of her attitude, if it was on purpose. I wondered because of her sort of snarky attitude.

If she was my daughter, THAT wouldn't have happened. If she was MY employee, she would have been 'talked to" or fired!

Not great customer service from HER. Disappointing because that is unusual there.

Put a damper on my morning coffee event but I am putting the lid on it and going forth! I just won't have her ever make my...

You lost a customer today. I went to get a coffee today and brought my dog along with me. 3 dog owners outside were keeping their dogs apart because they all had some form of leash aggression, but one owner said it would be alright for me to let mine approach his. They started barking and we pulled them apart and that was the end of the matter. I went inside to order my coffee, with my dog still outside, and a customer near the register said to the employees that dogs like that should be put down because they are dangerous. Not only did the employees behind the register agree that my dog should be put down, but they went on to the insult "the owner" and say how poorly trained the dog is. I got my coffee, left it on the counter and left, and I will not be coming back. It's a real shame because I have been coming here regularly, and bringing my dog each time as well. You lost a customer today because the way your employees acted when they didn't know who...
