I had a truly awful experience at Rion Jewelry that I feel compelled to warn others about. I went in for my first cartilage piercing, and what should have been an exciting experience quickly turned into a nightmare. Despite making it clear that this was my first time getting a cartilage piercing, I was completely misled and ended up being pierced in the wrong place. The staff assured me that they knew exactly what they were doing, but it turns out they did not. I was lied to about the jewelry they used. They claimed it was gold, but in reality, they used a sterling silver backing for the piercing, which is basically the entire piece of jewelry. The piercing was extremely painful and uncomfortable. When I called to express my concerns, they brushed it off, saying it was normal. I drove back to the shop, but no one could provide any helpful information. It wasn’t until I went to Deep Roots Piercing that I finally received the clarity I needed. They immediately noticed how badly the piercing was done and advised me to remove it. I ended up having to take it out, which was extremely disappointing and emotionally frustrating. To add insult to injury, Rion Jewelry only refunded me $50, despite the fact that I spent around $230. This entire experience was a disaster. Rion Jewelry clearly only cares about getting your business, not about your health or well-being. The service was unprofessional, and the jewelry they offer is subpar at best. If you’re looking for a place to get pierced, avoid Rion Jewelry at all costs. My partner and I came in to peek at what jewelry they had and just to browse since we have never been in before. Immediately we were greeted when we walked in and the gal up front (sorry I didn’t grab your name before we left) began to show us what they had with an assortment of fine jewelry and a large variety of earrings and piercing jewelry. Long story short, my partner convinced me to get my nose pierced and the gal helping us was so patient and attentive! She pulled out several styles for me to see what I wanted and finally we found one I liked!

Not only was the front gal welcoming and attentive, whenever staff came out, they were equally as engaged and kind! Now, Sarah, the piercer, was amazing! I had a pretty rough piercing in my nose years ago and I was discussing that over with her. She was very informative prior and after the piercing. She even offers after care support which I truly think is special and shows the extra care they put in with their customers! My piercing was so smooth!!! Sarah was very quick and vocal each step of the way. After my ring was on I remember telling her how extremely smooth it all felt! Decided to pop in while shopping in the plaza, I was looking to upgrade my current wedding ring. My husband was set on going in here after searching online. We walked in and were greeted immediately by Maria and the current manager on duty (I’m sad I didn’t grab her name). They were incredibly helpful and down to earth, it made it easy to shop and check out things i was interested in. I spotted a gorgeous emerald ring and they immediately let me try it on, I started to find other bands I’d like to add to it and they pulled out everything I had my eye on. Within 20 minutes I found a set I absolutely loved, my husband told them to package it up. My favorite part about this all is that they offer a 15% military discount. When I asked about a military discount, one of the girls said no and the manager quickly corrected her saying yes they do and it just started THIS month. 10/10 I recommend this business, I would definitely stop in again when I’m in the plaza.
