Review from 2025:
Shopping for seasonal clothes, Autumn 2025, same issues as before. Very few shoe choices for young men/youth size 4-5. Very few clothing choices for young men/youth size 12/14, in fact the section is crushed into the baby/kids area. No sweaters or hoodies available.
Women's section, mishmash of end of season clothing that should be taken off until next Spring. Too many clothing in scratchy/polyester fabrics. These types of clothes are impossible and impractical in this climate. There should be core basics available at the same level of quality of the men's section. Classic natural fiber cardigans, sweaters, blouses, sheath dresses, pencil skirts, short dresses are things I'm always shopping for and can never find.
Remember the average American woman is 5,4"-5,6" ish and 165lbs. In fashion that is a woman's large or xl depending on the designer. So order clothing sizes based on human size bell curves. There is also a distict lack of clothing for younger teen boys, that are a demographic experiencing growth spurt (need for new clothes) and evolution of style based on new social experiences.
Review from 2024: I went to find some basics: Tahari skirts, a cute short day dress, sleeveless tops, a swimsuit, back to school clothes for kids. Could not find anything to buy. What's available seems driven by manufacturer supply, not what people really need/want to wear.
Fabrics used should be natural, breathable, as synthetics don't work w a global warming climate. Full length shirts for women would be nice. The average woman. In the US is 5,4" and 165lbs. So in women's clothes a L or XL. However it's hard to find anything "normal" in a woman's large. A cute non-synthetic dress? Nope. A line skirt? Nope. Non-synthetic blouse? Nope. Swimwear? XS, S, M only. One XXL suit in a weirdly revealing style in bright orange. Um, OK?
Please go back to basics/classics. Carry more by American sportswear designers. Boys clothes above size 14 and up (Men's Small-Medium) should be in the men's section. (Why does it go up to 20 right next to toddler clothing?) Boys tops do not need prominent branding across the entire front of every shirt. In the boys section, have more than two kinds of pants (how about pants in autumn colors?) Rust, navy, copper olive. Tops for layering, classic cotton sweaters, soft hoodies. Carry modern/cooler stuff like Psycho Bunny. The girls selection was more on point/normal.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI did a return here this past weekend of a purchase that I originally did online with the pick up next day in store option. Well, turns out the items I bought were too big so went back to the store to return. (Mind you, I already placed a separate online order for the correct shoe size.) Now, during my return with the cashier everything seemed normal. I could tell that he was possibly new as he was doing things incorrectly (I worked at Nordstrom for 5 years so..) but I didnāt wanna tell him how to do thing. Well, long story short I get home later that night because I had a weird feeling something wasnāt right and I looked at the receipt and noticed the return went back onto somebody elseās card. 100% not mine. I started having a slight panic attack because 1. This is a good chunk of change and 2. I basically just handed over this chunk of change to somebody else! I went back to this Nordstromās the next day, told them the situation and how this return went onto someone else card and they (Jessica) basically put it on ME and blamed ME for their error! Then they told me that thereās a chance I wonāt get this money backā¦ā¦ this isnāt $50, this is over $1000!!!! So because of their terrible system and process that they have in place and because someone on the backend didnāt put the correct Uii on the box, I AM AT FAULT?!? You have got to be kidding me!! I am beyond livid. I have shopped at Nordstrom for years and years, and spend so much money here, yet this is how they are treating me? I have yet to hear anything back since Sunday in regards to this, but it needs to get squared away ASAP. You cannot treat customers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI needed to return shoes, but I didnāt bring a receipt with me. I stopped anyway knowing that I have debit card that Iāve made purchase with, and I also have Norstrom account. To start, both employees, cashier and her mĆ©nager were very unpleasant to work with and very judgemental. Cashier checked recant purchases under my card number, and said that she cannot find the item at all. At that point menager was invited. I asked them if they could maybe find it under our Nordstrom account number. Long time ago when we made an online purchase, we opened Nordstrom account under my husbandās name and phone number. So I gave them number and some unknown latin female name came up. I told them that thatās a wrong name, and they looked at me suspiciously and with an attitude. So I showed them my husbandās number on my phone, and calmly explained that this is his phone number and I know that I purchased shoes there. They called Nordstrom customer services and they also confirmed that that number/ account is under my husbandās name. Thatās when the final shock came. The employee said to me- āShe is maybe also using your husbandās account?ā It was implied that my husband is cheating on me?!! I was shocked, and was getting ready to leave. Than they made a return, issued me a gift card for that amount, never apologized for unprofessional and rude behavior. I said there and with this review again that my foot will never step in to that store again. My whole day was ruined, and this is the first time that Iām giving someone a bad review. I would give 0 stars if that...
