Arrived at the location. No employee in site. Forms on ledge. I had not been there in years. Understand being understaffed. Buzzed the ringer. No one came to the front. Waited a few minutes. Customers were coming in and asking me questions as if I worked there. Manager comes out and I share I didn’t want to just wake the form and wasn’t sure of their process. He goes to the wall where I put my items and states you can’t just put items there. He puts my items in a bin. Nothing is marked. And I have not done this in years. I asked questions for clarity. And I stated that he had an issue with correction. I stated it was there because I didn’t know his process. He’s walking off as I am talking to him. I asked the other employee. Do you see this is not how you all handle things. She commences to tell me they have had a rough day. Then he comes out mildly aggressive and says to me “ it’s common sense”. I share with him that I’m a customer and he is being unprofessional. I asked him if he was having a good day prior to that( he was being very rude) He tells me that they always do things this way and they do not have anyone to manage because they are short staffed. I stated I understand but I am asking because I have not been there and I do not know the process. Please note there is a sign that says did you not to just leave your items. As I am getting my picture out of my vehicle he tells me he us not accepting my things. And he takes my picture and brings it back outside and tells me to leave. I get my things out of the bin he puts them in. I asked him his name , he stated “ Cedrick”I asked to speak to a manager . He says he is the manager. I state “ it can’t be.”
This manager is dangerous. We are all stressed … but he was extremely rude and took liberties of being unprofessional by wielding his authority unnecessarily And abuse of power.
He rejected my items solely because is lack of process and procedure was questioned. He cost the center money as the item was being given away , light use and still with the sticker on it. I am filing a complaint. He is a liability to your store and employees as he lacked the ability to de escalate the situation… he reacted emotionally rather than professionally . If this were a different type of customer … this would have gotten out of hand. If you choose not to address the complaint , this may be something that could happen again. He needs coaching. He did not show good will to me or any customer as he was being confrontational with another customer… his tone, agitation, attitude and impatience was clear and this should not...
Read moreShe said her name is Lilly but I'm not sure that she was being honest about that. I had to use the restroom before I started shopping. She said she'd have to ask a manager so I decided to do some shopping while she asked. I ended up going back to the front to ask if she had talked to her manager and she said yes, but I had walked away. Mind you, she didn't tell me to wait for a moment while she saw me walking away. I put my clothes on the counter so I could go to the restroom. When I came back out, I put a few more things on the counter. With an attitude, Lilly said that I couldn't leave them there. Okay fair enough. I asked for a cart and was told that they either didn't have any more carts or they didn't have any at all. So I took all the clothes with me as I finished shopping. I get to the register and Lilly tells me that I need to check the DVD sleeves to make sure they correct DVD's were in their. I thought that was odd as I've never had to do that before. Overall, I spent about $65 to $75 so clearly I had a lot of clothes. After I buy the items, I'm waiting for Lilly to bag them, mind you she says nothing. So I ask her if she can put my items in bags. She tells me that they don't have plastic bags but I can purchase bags from them for .99 cents. I decline and try to get my items into my arms so I can leave. Lilly, as Im struggling to coordinate my items, puts her register closed sign up and walks away. No offer to help or anything like that. Thankfully, at customer saw my struggle and helped me. Read moreI’m not here to complain about the products. My problem is that this store is packed and only ONE singular worker is at the register, the only other register is closed. This lady is working as hard as she can and not a single other worker is trying to come through and help her even though the line is all the way across the store. This is unfair treatment. They may have a hiring sign out but will never get more workers if they continue this. It’s ridiculous! Every other worker is in the employees only room doing god knows what, and are fully capable of opening the other register. Instead they have bad attitudes and are not helping this lady at all. This is not a new occurrence at this location either....
