I don’t leave these ratings for any one store because it’s the same story at every store. Horrible customer service, bad employee attitudes, incompetent management, etc. They are all just employees that couldn’t care less if you’re happy because they are overworked, underpaid and treated the same as the forklifts they unload the trucks with by upper management. I review them as a whole, as if we all shop in the same store with the CEO in a back office in the building. That said, Walmart management and the SC Johnson company think you are stupid and I can prove it with two pictures and you can walk in any Walmart and see the same thing happening in every one with several products. Let’s call it a Walmart scavenger hunt. You are looking for two of the same product from the same company and the smaller package has the higher price and bonus points for the smaller package having not only less net weight but also having less active ingredient(s) and still cost more and are no different aside from the label. For instance: Off! insect repellent with the word “tick” on the label and Off! Deep Woods insect repellent. The Tick Off! has less of the active ingredient and the same inactive ingredients but it costs more than the Deep Woods Off!. Take pictures and post them in a review for a virtual internet high five and maybe save someone that actually needs to read a review for Walmart from spending money there. I will start.

We went to this non Super Walmart yesterday to buy a replacement battery for my daughter’s BMW. The battery for her car is an H8 with 900CCA and weighs 60.76lbs. Since this Knightdale, North Carolina store doesn’t have an automotive department we checked out at a regular cashier. When I asked where to put the battery core she pointed to customer service. I rolled the buggy over with the new EverStart and dead BMW batteries. I stood at a distance directly behind the person at the customer service register. The lady was pretty overweight and maybe she missed an extra snack between meals because she barked “the line is over there!” I told her I simply needed to drop off a battery core and she pointed telling me to place it “over there”. As I left I told her that the battery was very heavy and she may want some help lifting it so she wouldn’t hurt her back. I thought the process was complete. As I left I heard her yelling at me as if I had just committed an armed robbery. She sent some guy to chase me down in the parking lot. He confronted me and I’m not the type of person that takes well to that type of aggressive stance. I shoved my receipt in his face and that changed his demeanor. He was apologetic and told me he was making sure I wasn’t overcharged $12 for the battery core. Minimum wage doesn’t provide excellent customer service. Walmart will lose to Amazon under most circumstances. Enjoy your day.

I believe there is crime taken place at this Walmart, specifically by the young employees who do curbside here. Fraudulent crime. Please do not order a tv for pick up curbside. I ordered a $600 dollar tv for pick up, upon arrival to my house, I open the tv, and it is not the correct tv that I ordered. It was a totally different tv!!. I ordered a 65’ inch tv. And was given a tv that was used. I called the store and let them know immediately, went to the store the same day and explained everything no one would listen to me. I asked for them to check the cameras they explained the cameras are down because they are doing reconstruction. About 10 employees there and only one listened to me but did not have the power to help me. The employees were very rude, I called Walmart corporate and they explained the employees refund it, but it’s up to them. The manager informed me she will not refund it because she won’t receive a credit for the tv. Wow! What about your customers, I paid for a 600 tv and was robbed. There are a lot of young people working there and they all were silent. It was fishy. The police showed up, one cop believed me and urged me to take it higher which I will. I tried to file a police report but they told me it is a civil matter I just want to warn people, please don’t order a tv for pickup, buy it in person or go to Best Buy because this was emotionally and financially difficult.

Okay so this is the most discriminative Walmart I've ever been to. I usually stop by there after work if I ever go there I am usually in nice clothes with dress pants and dress shoes. I am without a doubt very respectful and kind to anyone(especially in the customer service industry).

Underneath the clothes I am well covered in tattoos and I dress quite different from regular work days.

Usually when I'm all buttoned up and ironed out I get very nice service, people are helpful, and friendly at checkout. Just like the lady was to the guy before me.

3 times now I have gone in there in my "off work" attire and I have gotten no help or asked if I needed assistance

Last time this happened I went up to a lady and asked for her help finding a certain product that online, said it was in store. She directed me wast another lady in a yellow vest that she said could look it up for me but she was on the phone and put her finger up to have me hold while she finished her conversation. No big deal. People have their own issues that still have to be taken care of at work. When she was able to pry herself away from her cell phone she was pretty "snarky". When I asked her if she could help me find it. Without looking she immediately said they didn't have it and that the online inventory wasn't accurate.. Well okay I still needed something like it so I found the aisle that stuff was on and swear if I didn't find what I was originally looking for within 5 mins. I walked back past her aisle to check out and I held it up and let her know they did have them in stock. She gave me a really crummy look and then went back to her phone conversation.

Go back to today. The checkout lady was super sweet to the guy in front of me also very conversational and as always I have a friendly hello. She gave me a nod. Told me total. I said "thank you have a good day" then she handed me my receipt and said "thanks".

Now like I said any other time I come in dressed from work the service is a lot better. You should totally address your employees behavior. I work directly with my clients and no matter their situation or what they look like I treat every single one of them with respect. I would not usually spend 10 minutes of my time to write a Google review and I almost did this last time with the lady and the phone situation but I figured maybe they were just having bad days. Sad that I get better service at the Durham location.

I only hope this can change the perspective of at least one person. Thank you. Have...

Bought a bike, after 1 trip on the Greenway my back tire blew out, luckily I didn't wreck. My husband tried to fix it but realized tires were put on wrong! Called them next day they had another one but needed put together, assured me it would be in top notch condition. I get there & the guy that put it together brought it to me & said it was perfect. Asked me to give it a test drive. As soon as I got on & went to pedal the handle bars dropped & I crashed & wrecked right in the parking lot. Well apologies were given by Jerome, & he tightened the "well put" together bike. I load it get it home & my husband notices a handful of problems the cables were all mixed up, front brakes were upside down, the front tire lug nut was so loose that he could tighten it with his hand, the fenders were touching the wheels, I mean endless at how bad this was put together. It's not like this was a bad TV or something but 2 bikes that were not assembled correctly that could possibly cause life threatening accidents. After talking to the Asst. Manager Tim I was told they would do a customer satisfaction to compensate me for all my time, gas and being sold 2 dud bikes Tim said he would have the store manager call me 1st thing next morning. Well by noon I hadn't heard anything so I called, store manager was in a meeting but Tim answered remember he is the Asst. Manager. He said she would give me a $25 walmart gift card and refund the bike. That's all my pain, suffering, time was meant to them. $25. That's it. After telling him what an insult that was and as a manager knowing I crashed and wrecked on their property because Jarome didn't tighten the handle bars. Then this Asst. Manager Tim hung up on me & this is while I was passionately crying because of the frustrating ordeal of 3 days of just trying to go for some bike rides to get healthy which resulted in 2 accidents. I am extremely soar from the crash on their parking lot. After a manager hung up on me I contacted Walmart corporate office. If nothing gets handled I will be contacting a lawyer because how many more bikes are not assembled correctly & who else could be injured. Kids, elderly, handicapped. Doesn't matter. Safety & responsibility should have been more important to a multi billion dollar corporation than the $25 they offered me. So I would recommend not shopping there or buying anyone a...

Went here and as soon as I went to get a shopping cart I heard a customer tell a worker the hand sanitizer depenser was out. Her reply was "sorry that's not my job"! He looked shocked and so was I! In this day and time for her to say that with what's going on in our world is OUTRAGEOUS! This same worker a African American older woman who wears glasses was rude to several other customers including me about different qustions or items that needed attention at self checkout. On the same day a CSM was called to a register to turn the key for someone to put money on a card, she was rude and down right mean to the worker saying so I wont be bothered next time send them to the customer service desk to do this. This woman wears a wrap on her head not sure of nationality but has an accent also. Okay then on a separate day went to this same location and heard 2 workers talking saying how one had logged 47 hours and she wasn't planning on working anymore hours and was tired of it, she was an African American woman also of bigger statue who worked at the self checkout has short hair. Employees flock together to talk about customers, have big booming laughing and cackling out burst like a gang of hyenas. This isn't conduct a business would want when people are spending their hard earned money there. I hope a higher up management person sees this or even the corporate office, reason for descriptions of employees. My problem is if you don't want to do your job, are tired of it, don't want to bother with questions or customers, simply put out sanitizer, then why in the HELL are you here?!?! Quit your job go somewhere else, let people that actually want to work have these jobs! And keeping things like wipes and sanitizer out are ESSENTIAL in times like we are living in now. This was actually my favorite store but after witnessing these horrid people that are employed at this location it no longer is a store I will even spend my money at. I'm a tiny drop in a big bucket but if others feel the same way the drops...
