Do not attend. This school does not have their students’ best interest in mind. I moved across the country for this school based on what the layout and requirements were. Once I started school none of it was true. Next, the financial aid office is impossible to get ahold of over phone or email. They also messed up my tuition multiple times. I live in Chattanooga, and it got so bad that I would leave four or five voicemails (never getting a response to any of them) and I had to make the two hour drive several times just to get the financial aid office to help me. I attended the nursing program and I had teachers and the dean single me out due to having a speech impediment. I missed one clinical due to a major family emergency and they failed me for that whole quarter even after providing every piece of proof that they asked for. I was also told that I would not be a good nurse because they thought I was lying. Not to mention, I was singled out on multiple occasions just because I was the only male student in my class and had lots of inappropriate comments made toward me by both professors and peers. They also told students that they try to get people to not pass to make their nclex pass rate higher. Save your money and find a different school, this one is not...

All you will gave is a measly piece of paper, just to enter the workplace to be treated like garbage. Paid pennies. And given few opportunities to work a job that actually provides for you and your family. Don't let the lies fool you. DONT BECOME AN LPN. Become an RN with your BSN. Please!
Before I say anything else, though, Professor Shempert is by far the best instructor you can have. As well as Professor Harris is very short and straightforward. To the point.
On the business side You will be given false information and lied to during admission, but everyone will be "helpful" then. The LPN program is a nightmare and once you are in it you will feel stuck because despite you not having to pay loans back you will be charged full price for everything even the things you didn't use, through the Department of Education and NOT South College.
There will be a roller coaster of phenomenally helpful instructors and faculty and then the silent and completely unhelpful instructors and faculty.
Go here if you want. It's...

I’ve been dealing with this circus for a YEAR, and without fail, every single 10-week term, there’s a new issue with my financial aid or VA payments. We’re now FIVE WEEKS into the current term, and they were supposed to submit paperwork THREE WEEKS AGO. Still nothing. Just silence. Meanwhile, I’m stuck waiting (again) with bills piling up.
The financial aid department is a joke. I even spoke to the director personally, who swore it “wouldn’t happen again.” Guess what? It happened. Again. Every. Single. Time. They just don’t care.
This was supposed to be my last 10 weeks, and thank God it is. I was actually considering staying for my bachelor’s here, but after being jerked around and ignored over and over, there’s no way I’m giving them another dollar. You’d be better off lighting your tuition money on fire—it’d be less stressful and probably more productive.
RUN. Don’t walk. RUN AWAY...
