We love IHop. It's our go to breakfast place. If this location was our first experience I would write this off and never come back to another iHop in my life and discouraged others who would even suggest it. The most pleasant part of this place is the hostess Cady who was trying to do get best to get people seated. But how could she when her team couldn't support her? She'd walk by to check on tables and they were all still sitting there never being cleaned while she had a lobby full of hangry people. As we were waiting, a lady walked herself to pay for her tab (Cady had to stop what she was going with a line of people waiting to get checked in) she didn't even have get check yet because she says (to a lobby full of hungry guests) "Our waitress just vanished! She never came back!" Another lady helped seat my family of 3 and another party of 2. Thank God for her because she left some type of relief for the poor girl. All around us were so many dirty tables. The woman who was supposed to be our waitress (because she was the one I saw take the menus from the window of my car because yes... We left) didn't even acknowledge us. She made eye contact with me, didn't say I'll be our someone will be right back to take care of you..NOTHING. 5 MINUTES go by, she walks by our table to get drinks for the party of 2 that was still waiting on her one to show up. I assume take her drink order then walk to the back to chat with the other waitress still pissed that her table walked out and didn't give her a tip. What did you expect?? You vanished remember?? So by this time, over 5 minutes no drinks, no acknowledgement, so guess what?? No business. We left. Not every ihop is like this. I love iHop and their fluffy pancakes and I was not about to let this location ruin it for me. If this much chaos is going on in the front, there is no telling what goes in that kitchen. The staff needs some retraining and there was no clear...
Read moreThis particular IHOP was not a good experience! (It used to be!) I really enjoy writing great reviews but I just couldn't do it this time! The best part of our visit was the greeting from the hostess100% for her! Our waitress "seemed" too busy to be concerned with us, or any of her tables for that matter. We waited for her to take our drink order but we did order our meals at the same time to avoid delay. Unfortunately, it took another 35-40 minutes to get our order. Our waitress never returned to our table during that time. I received tableware with dried food on it and had to ask another waitress for replacement (this waitress was actually keeping busy with her customers!) But, her response was, "I'll let your waitress know." She did return a few minutes later to tell us she had let our waitress know. Nothing. No new tableware, no drink refills, nothing from our waitress. After the 35-40 minutes, our waitress and food arrived. No replacement tableware, so I asked again. I ordered the newly 'revised and returned' cheese/bacon crepe. It was totally overcookedcrispy and brown! I mentioned it to our waitress and asked if that's how it usually comes and she said, "I don't know. It's new. They're just learning it." I stated that's not what it looks like in the menu picture, and that crepes are supposed to be light and fluffy. No apology but she did finally ask if I wanted another. But knowing how long it took the first time I declined and told her to merely inform the cooks about it. It was awful! I ate the bacon on top and part of the center only. (I should have taken a picture!) Definitely not worth $11.50! My husband's omelette order was better than mine but nothing special. Our waitress never returned except to give us our bill. We won't be returning to the Lovell Road IHOP! (Maybe get better...
Read moreThis place needs extreme make over. They definitely need to either hire more people or train the ones to move their buns faster and cover each other. Receptionist Megan, takes off to our seat without waiting for us to follow. We were seated close to the bathroom and we could smell the bad odor. Table wasn't cleaned, still had coffee cup ring, empty bottle of hot sauce with a new one, unstable table leg was fixed with IHOP menu, food & dirty napkins were on the floor and fork and knife were sticky and not so clean. I watch them clean the table after people leave and OMG, no wonder it's so dirty, wax on, wax off stroke, that's it! Wiping food off the table instead of gather them to put in their hands or bucket makes the floor so dirty nasty. We also found out that IHOP changed the policy that you don't pay at the cashier's anymore. Well, we didn't know and I was standing there over 5 min and the receptionist who passed me 3 times couldn't say a thing to let me know? Bus boy finds out I was trying to pay so he fetched Chase, his manager to help me. I saw him running between the table to solve the problems and looks so overwhelmed! Whoever owns this location is either clueless or don't care. I wanted to give 1 star as this place is so dirty but gave 2 stars as the food was...
