Read moreWe stayed for one night while passing through on a road trip. Hotel was hard to find because of construction in the area and poor road signage. We used the digital key to check in, which let us get to the room faster. Room itself was fine, though we wished there were two chairs. The shades did not darken the room as much as I would like. We heard noise from the highway and from the hotel hallway throughout the night. Breakfast was fine, but fairly limited. For example, there were bagels but only strawberry cream cheese, no plain. After breakfast we returned to the room to rest and do some work. We could hear a couple talking right outside our door. It went on for so long we opened the door and asked if we could help them with something. They declined and kept talking! After several minutes of this, they left. Then the banging next door started. Not sure exactly what that was about, but it involved someone in the room trying to shut the door with a wooden wedge under it. After several minutes of this we gave up on working and left. Walking out we saw that it was not a guest in the room but housekeeping/ maintenance. All of this was before 9:00 a.m. Downstairs we saw the hall talker from earlier. He was the front desk clerk! We had no idea he was staff because he was wearing sweats and a hoody. He stopped us as we were leaving, not to apologize for being loud, but to reassure us he didn’t need any help. I told him I was trying to work, but the noise disturbed me. It was clear that English is not his first language and he did not understand so we just let it go. We asked his colleague (who was dressed in yoga pants and a sweatshirt) for directions to the interstate. She went over it a couple of times with us. She sent us the wrong way! We won’t stay at this...
Read moreI arrived at 2pm when online it said check in was at 3pm, but in all the hotels I have stayed it (I travel ALOT), I have never been told my room wasn't ready. I was traveling with my 16 month old son & he was in desperate need of a nap, in a crib. I walked in to the front desk & could instantly tell the lady was irritated- I told her I was checking in & all she said was "check in isn't until 3pm." So, I asked her "there's not one room we could have?" "Nope, not one. We were full last night & we have 89 rooms." Very hard for me to believe that in 1 hours time all those 89 rooms would be cleaned. She never offered to keep my luggage, just watched me struggle as I wheeled my son (that was now crying), along with my luggage back out to my car to wait an hour. When I went back in at 3pm, shockingly, my room STILL wasn't ready. No playpen had been put in my room, like I called & made sure about the night prior. I sat & waited awhile as they tried to find a clean room for me. Finally they did & as I walked into the room there were hairs & crumbs all over the floor. Right as I walked in(entry way) & beside the bed. I wouldn't walk around barefoot or let me son. This hotel is NASTY. I'm shocked too because you advertise that you are a new hotel & the sticker was on the door notifying me that the room hadn't been entered since it was cleaned. I will NEVER stay at another Hilton hotel. The service was horrible. I can understand if I showed up hours before check in, but it was 1 hour early & I had a very tired child that had been traveling in a car seat all day. Treat your customers better. Honestly, I think I should be refunded, because that lady really ruined the nice day I was having...
