I have mixed feelings about how my stay went although I will not be staying here again. Let me start by explaining why I will not stay here again. This hotel for me personally is not modern. It is just not my style perhaps. The shower was terrible, worse shower I have ever had. The shower looked dirty just from buildup where housekeeping doesn't properly clean, the water pressure was almost non existent, and so was the amount of water coming from the shower head, also unable to turn the hot water up over a certain point so to me the shower was warm at best. You could clearly tell that housekeeping does not do a good job and do not care you could clearly tell they just came in to change out what needed to be changed and didn't bother wiping anything down as there was dust everywhere. There were smudges on the mirrors and the shower door. The sink had not been cleaned as there was dirt on the faucet. There were marks all over the door and the walls, the carpet did not look like it had been vacuumed. Also the front desk and lobby area appear nice and clean but were not at a closer look, dust was all over the desk almost as they do not wipe it down frequently. I will say that the female bartender (So sorry forgot her name) was very attentive and friendly, as for the rest of the staff as in front desk staff they were very unprofessional and had an underlining passive aggressive demeanor about them. I needed to print something while staying here and was not able to due to the hotel not having printer paper in the guest printer, upon going to desk to ask for it the woman at the desk informed me that the hotel was out of printer paper all together and that not even they had it in their printers. I have worked at IHG and Hilton properties before as front desk and I can without a doubt tell and say that this hotel staff is not professional in any shape or form and need not only staff members that care but also staff members that communicate with one another. I can not begin to even go over all the errors I encountered and witnessed while staying here.
Highlights: The coffee was great, the female bar tender was great (she was only bartender there during my stay, so not sure if there were any others but did not interact with them) and the bed was...

From the moment we walked through the door, the experience was subpar. We were not greeted or even acknowledged by any staff members upon arrival, which was a disappointing start to our stay, especially considering our loyalty to the Marriott brand. While the receptionist who eventually assisted me was kind, the initial lack of acknowledgement was off-putting. We had requested and been granted an early check-in, but our room was not ready upon our scheduled arrival time. We were left waiting an additional 20 to 30 minutes, which was inconvenient and frustrating, particularly after anticipating the benefits of our Bonvoy membership. However, the true shock came when we finally entered our room. While the bed was made and the furniture appeared in place, the state of the restroom was absolutely disgusting. There was pubic hair all over the floor and throughout the shower. This level of uncleanliness is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one within the Marriott family. The state of the room was so appalling that we immediately checked out of the hotel. We did not feel comfortable spending even one night in such unsanitary conditions. We ended up going to another hotel that was not affiliated with Marriott, which thankfully provided a much cleaner and more welcoming environment. The fact that a room could be presented to valued Bonvoy members in this state is appalling and reflects poorly on the hotel's standards. We were so dissatisfied that we didn't even attempt to resolve the issue further with this particular property, opting instead to leave and find alternative accommodation. Adding to our concerns about this hotel brand, I also had a concerning break-in experience at an Aloft in Waco, Texas. It seems this brand needs to seriously address its standards for cleanliness, room readiness, and overall security to maintain the trust of its loyal members. Our recent experiences have left us with a very negative impression of the brand, so much so that we chose to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt had the potential to be really good, but the spirit to lead them there just seems to have vanished. Itās rote work now. After having missed the temporary directional sign, we looped around and finally found the drive way up to the competing hotels that are perched above the interstate with its concophony of noises. The COVID protocols seemed to be well posted and all in place with compliance. The hotel appeared to have approx 25 percent occupancy , so distancing rooms for privacy and protection shouldnāt have been a problem. I understand they want the cleaning crew to maximize their efforts by bunching up the rooms, but that runs completely counter to customer satisfaction. For example: Nov 5th, 2021, was our 5th wedding anniversary. We drove up, checked in, went to Market Square, and enjoyed a fabulous meal. Since our room was across the hall from the elevator bay, we heard some goings and coming. In fact, our next door neighbor or is the one who educated us to the fact that the ice machine was just across the hall from our room. In the morning, I think someone was filling their cooler or a long road trip. Will all the space in the world to spread out customers, ya think they would have given it a little thought. The micro-loft concept was interesting. I now know I do not want a sliding barn door to my bathroom. Cleanliness was an issue. There was some sticky residue on the floor beside the bed that looked like a hazmat team with a sanitizing mop could have eliminated it. But the gross part was the overlapping toothpaste sprays that created their own art on the back of the dividing panel between the sink and the bed. Oh, the fan in the bathroom didnāt work, either. Awkward. I shared my suggestions of not jamming up on top of each other the few guests for the evening... especially not across from the elevators and ice machine. There no incentive to return. Might as well try the direct compete hotel a Ross the parking lot....
