For anyone who decides to use uBreakiFix, I would strongly recommend that you photograph the condition of the computer or phone or whatever screen you need fixed before you use them. I went there in October 2024 and got a full screen replacement for my MacBook that cost $494. From October to February, all was good with the computer. In March 2025 I started noticing what looked like “spotlights” on the bottom of the screen. I searched google and found that “spotlights” appearing is usually caused by a backlight issue and often requires a complete display replacement. I called uBreakiFix and they said I was still covered under their warranty and they could probably take care of it. I bring the laptop in and one of the tech’s looks at it, says when the laptop is closed it’s warped and could not close perfectly. He said the right side closed more than the left. This tech tells me that they can’t honor my warranty because this damage must have happened between October and the day I walked into uBreak with it. Since October, when I got the MacBook back, I have been careful with it. I paid almost $500 to repair this computer. I was careful with it from the day I got it back from UBIF. This tech insists that this damage had to have happened after I picked up the computer in October, because they would not have done a full screen repair with it being warped the way it was. He said he looked at the notes from the techs in October and the warping of the laptop was not noted by any of them. He said that even the lead tech did not note that the computer was warped and the tech “trusts him”. Which felt like I was being called a liar. Anyway, I asked if I could somehow find a picture of my laptop from before October to see if it was warped before I went to UBIF would that be able to get my warranty covered? Tech said they may be able to work with that. I went home and started digging through pictures. I managed to find a photo with my closed laptop in it. You can see it in this review. It says the date June 2024 in the picture, four months before I went to UBIF. You can see that the case has been “warped” for a while. Even with the case on, you can see that the left side of the laptop has a bigger gap than the right side, the issue the tech said would have been noted. So I email the picture to the company email and got no response for hours. I end up calling and am given the run around about how the picture doesn’t clearly show the warping, the case on the laptop covers up the warp, a whole lot of other BS before they tell me they still don’t think they can honor the warranty. We end up getting a manager on the phone who told us we could bring it in and they’d see what they could do but the franchise owner already said no. We ended up driving to UBIF the next day but couldn't drop the computer off because the manager was not there and she had to be the one to see it. We decided not to go back. It was pretty obvious they were not going to honor the warranty and at that point, with them claiming they wouldn't have done a screen replacement on a warped screen when it's obvious that they did, makes me not so confident as a customer to have this company repair it.

I filed a claim through my ATT insurance carrier Asurion. The claim referenced me to one of my three area locations and I took it to the Parkside Drive location. They called me the next day to confirm and ask questions about the damage. They set an appointment with me. They were open during some bad winter weather, which was very convenient for me. The technician explained the process and because I had set an appointment they were able to turn it around in less than three hours, so I just did some shopping and went back and picked my phone up once it was complete. One of the lenses for my camera was shattered and the repair looks like new. I was pleased with their initiative to call once the claim came through, their explanation of the process, and that they were able to follow through on their commitment to get it done and under three hours. Only negative I see, which I do not attribute directly to the service I received in this store, is that that they say once they open your phone it may not be as moisture proof and water intrusion is not covered under their warranty. I did ask the technician and he said the kit comes from Apple and contains the same adhesive as used in the OEM process, so I think if the technicians are trained properly , my hope is that it would have a significantly similar waterproof capability. I think this is something they should retest or rethink in terms of limiting warranty coverage.

Don't hesitate to visit ubreakifix. Makala fixed what both T Mobile and Samsung techs couldn't. I spent 3+ hours on the phone with TM and Samsung. TM even made me do a reset (that was inconvenient and did nothing but make me have to reconnect all my apps). Long story short Makala at the Farrahgett ubreakifix to 1 minute to find and fix the problem. Thank you,

This is without a doubt the worst tech repair shop I have ever been to. Samsung sent me here for a warrantied repair on my Samsung Buds Pro 2. The ear buds were kept for 2 weeks total (give or take a day or 2). I was called to pick up the repaired and finished product and when I finally came to pick it up, the tech was unable to print a receipt to complete the warranty for some reason. I had to wait while he called the manager, and after getting off the phone I was told he needed 15 more minutes minimum to figure out what was going on. This is already ridiculous enough as the job should have been completed when I arrived. It should have been as simple as grabbing my ear buds and leaving. I was in a time crunch, so I gave the ear buds back to the tech and said I'd have to come back later to get them. They were kept for 4 more days and I finally received a phone call asking if I had changed the charging cradle on them. Ubreakifix is the only place that has ever serviced them, so of course it was the original cradle and that's what I told the tech. The gentleman was extremely rude and matter-of-fact with me on the phone and told me that he would be UN-repairing my ear buds and I would have to mail them into Samsung directly. This is simply unacceptable, ridiculous, and a complete and total waste of my time.

I also had my phone screen replaced here. I opted for a cleaning of the inside and outside of the phone during the repair. When I came to pick up the phone, I noticed the outside was still dirty. This got me wondering if the phone was even cleaned at all, particularly on the inside where I can't see. So I asked the tech if the inside had been cleaned and he assured me it had been. As he took the phone to the back to clean the outside, I heard one of the other techs say "Oh he wanted the inside cleaned too?" Then heard them spraying some air duster in the ports leading me to believe that the inside of my phone is likely still dirty and I have no way of being able to tell. This lends a certain level of distrust to this company.

As I'm writing this, I did receive a call from Ubreakifix stating that they were able to get an exemption on the repair and I will be able to pick them up without them being un-repaired, however, the level of stress and absolute ridiculousness, as well as the rude tech that I spoke with is unacceptable.

Whether it is a warrantied repair or I am paying out of pocket for a repair, I will absolutely not return here. Especially because I believe I was charged for a cleaning service that I didn't...

This place if I could give them zero stars I would!!! I went in to have my battery replaced and the guy (who refused to give me his name later when I asked) was short and had blondish brown hair and the text they sent when my phone was finally ready said his name was Lance, told me since my phone had a tiny scratch on the phone that I’d also need a new 140.00 screen. I at This point trusted him. 3 hours later when I went to pick up my phone and paid almost 250.00, got to my vehicle and checked my phone to see that I now had a notification on my phone stating that my screen wasn’t recognized by Apple. I was never told this would be an issue. So I went back in, talked to the manager and she told me I’d have to pay another 300 for a screen (that I didn’t even need in the first place) that did recognize Apple phones. My son was with me and we had plans to go to the fair and already running late with frozen food in my vehicle. They made me wait so long and I gave them the opportunity to make it right. The manager brought the original tech that took advantage of me for being a single parent went on to tell me what my options were and that was to wait another 2 hours and they’d put my original screen back on and then they’d give me my money back. I started crying because he was so rude to me and I told him that I felt taken advantage of and he went on to be even more rude and told me to leave or he was calling the police on me. I have never felt more hurt and feelings of shame and totally taken advantage of and threatened that I called the police myself after I left. Who knows if my phone will work long because there’s no telling what he’s done to my phone. When I checked out to get my money back from the screen I asked what his name was and he said it was none of my business. And I asked to speak to the manager again and he said she supports what he was telling me as well. This was all in front of other customers. Then after he refunded me and not even the whole amount of money he told me I was blacklisted!!! Oh trust me, I would never return to this store EVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE!! Something has to be done to people who treat people terrible and threaten good people. I will be speaking with my attorney as well tomorrow!!! TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!! RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!! This was at the Turkey Creek...
