Gaylord Aldi's has the best management I have ever seen. I had a price discrepancy on a item n I truly could not believe how professional n FANTASTIC the manager was. He didn't send a assistant manager or cashier out to help me with my problem, he came out n took care of it his self n in such a manner as that I really couldn't believe it. His skills working with the public far exceeded any other managers that I've ever had dealings with in any kind of store n I'm 52 so I've had quite a few experiences with management, lol lol I Do not know the man's name but if all their stores have managers like him, I would venture to say they have the market cornered on manners n hospitality š It's sad to say but almost all the other grocery stores would def benefit from lessons from Aldi's employees!!! Let me not forget to mention that all my dealings with cashier's have been awesome also, except for one arrogant assistant manager in Gaylord store but I have not seen him the last few times I've been in so who knows maybe he got...

No less than 30 seconds of me being in the store a young man with short red hair and a beard came up to me and said ājust so you know, we close in ten minutes.ā With such a horrible tone. I was taken aback. Itās my birthday and Iām just trying to grab some food during operating hours. I was power walking as well, obviously I understood that aldis was closing in 10 minutes.
Then on the way out he was waiting for me at the door, making it a point to not look at me. I walked passed him and he didnāt say anything , I would expect a goodbye or some sort of professionalism. Especially after being rude and stand offish for no apparent reason.
Never have I been treated like that in a grocery store before for coming in ten minutes before close. I work and have worked in the service industry for 15 years, I know the drill. Absolutely unprofessional and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRolled into the store appx 720 and was on the last isle when an employee (red hair/beard) announced halfway down the isle " the store is closed" . I said I have one more thing to grab and headed down to grab it and he just stood there staring at me. He had zero expression on his face and was obvious not happy with me. I headed up to pay not finding what i was looking for and he just stood there glaring. The employee checking us out was smiling and talking to us. I didn't even feel comfortable bagging up my groceries as he stood at the door waiting for me to leave with "the glare". I walked by him to exit and he made zero contact I just shook my head. If I treated my customers like that I would be out of business. Now I have to go to Meijer to find that...
