Today I used the drive thru and the older woman with the short brown hair basically told me (the customer) that I was wrong. I placed an order and I said at the start of the order that I wanted "4 44oz drinks" and then listed the drinks. By the way I told them it this way because last time I tried to order each drink by saying "44 lemonade" and "44 coke" and so on they told me "if they are all 44oz then you can save yourself time and just list them." Anyway I then pulled around and they were placing my order in a carrier. An order that has somehow turned into 4 32 oz drinks. When I tried to tell them they were supposed to be 44 oz drinks they said "no you said large." I said no i specifically said 44 oz. She said again that I said large and then emphasized that I was only charged and had paid for 32 oz drinks. Like I care. I know what I said. I would have paid any difference. I had already planned to pay for the 44 oz drinks when I ordered them so it wasn't a problem but after being called a liar twice and what felt like like an insinuation about my character i said whatever just give them to me. I would have been seriously reprimanded if not lost my job if I did this when I worked in customer service. Apparently I need to say "I need a 44 oz lemonade. That was a 44 oz. Yes 44oz lemonade. Again 44 oz. " Also the drinks were poorly flavored. Could barely taste...
Read moreI use to visit ATLEAST 4 times a week now I barely go for many reason: Had my debit card broken in half but then argued with me and said I gave it to her that way. I'm pretty sure I would know if it was in 2 pieces coming out of my wallet. Acknowledgement would've been sufficient. Constant rotation of new staff who probably get paid minimum wage to be busy all day in a high demand job. The biggest complaint is military discount. It use to be 25% off everything then it went down to 10% but then it went down to 10% only on 1 drink and 1 food item. Now it's where you can't use the stamp card or loyalty rewards program from online orders and get that item discounted. ANYWAYS today I had to take my gma to hospital so I stopped and used my full stamp card and got a free item and 1 other item and I told them I had military discount and I also asked for a receipt but I had to ask again after I got my drinks bc I never was told the amount. And once I pulled away I noticed I didn't receive my discount on the 1 item I bought and didn't use my stamp card. So this place has went from great to a money grab. I'll go to speedway if I need coffee. Multiple bad experiences but besides that it's good coffee good food just overpriced and terrible...
Read moreMy bf and I were just passing through Kokomo craving a brunch spot and found this hidden gem! They have a homey/industrial aesthetic that really catches your eye. The employees were super friendly and speedy with serving our food! The food itself was HEAVENLY, I ordered the Cajun spice sub and my bf ordered the Tuscan chicken sub. Both had so much flavor. Our coffee was also amazing, my bf ordered the galaxy iced latte and it had so much depth in its sweet flavor, but not overpowering in any way. My peanut butter meltdown iced coffee was amazing, also sweet but again not too much. We took a few bites of a chocolate muffin before our food arrived, which was super moist and rich, but were too full from just the 6 inch subs to finish the muffin. We plan on having this as our go-to date spot whenever we’re passing through, it only took one visit for us to fall in love with this cafe! It was about $30 for everything but it’s definitely worth more than other spots with higher prices; with the quality of food they serve and how filling...
