I’ve been getting tattooed since 2008 and have never had a more amazing experience than I did at Bohemian. This place is absolutely beautiful on the inside and looks more like a luxury hotel than a tattoo shop. The lady at the front desk was friendly, helpful and offered me free water/soda. I’ve never met an artist like Chris Doyle. He is both upbeat and chill at the same time and made me immediately comfortable. I was there to get a memorial tattoo for my Basset Hound, Judge, who passed away in October. When I saw his artwork I was blown away; it was like I was looking at a picture of my boy. Although I had a rough go for some reason and had to break the appointment into two sessions (second session is 1/20), Chris was completely understanding and empathetic to the pain I was having. I’m in awe of what he’s done so far and will edit this review to post photos once the tattoo is finished. Totally worth the two hour and twenty minute round-trip drive from Indianapolis. This place is amazing!!! Very unquie detailed design as soon as you walk in the door! Very clean and orderly! The staff is the out of any shop ive been in. Communication is excellent. Reminded me of my appointment, worked around my schedule, very attentive as soon as you get in the door. My guy (Doug Burkmire) is very professional and has many amazing artistic skills. I was very impressed from the moment he shook my hand. He was very respectful during the consultation(s) and gave GREAT guidance as to the design and subject matter. He is quite gifted at his career and passion for tattooing, and art. We started a full sleeve tattoo just on Thrusday and im blown away at the detail and creative touch. Pretty displeased with the service part and the artist himself. Waited for an hour and half during my appointment. The artist stenciled a walk in during my appointment for an hour and half in the beginning. It was a partial sleeve on the shoulder, while mine was a hand tattoo. After that hour and half was my turn. The work on my hand was 2hrs, which left scarring because he was heavy handed. My tattoo was appraised prior to me even confirming the appointment at $300 to $400 depending on the time with a $200 deposit. He charged me afterwards an extra 400. It came out to $600 after it was finished. I was there for a total of 4hrs for 2hrs of work. I came to believe he added on the 400 because my appointment went from 12 to 4.
