The good: the pork chop, broccoli, and asparagus I ordered was delicious. Kudos to the kitchen.
The bad: though the restaurant wasn’t busy and there was plenty of staff present, we had horrible service. We came in the restaurant side and that was a mistake because nobody was over there. We wandered into the bar side and finally got seated and water brought. Then we waited. And waited. And googled “how long should I wait to order my food in a restaurant before just leaving?” And waited some more. Finally the waitress came and took our order.
We were drinking water and the only time we got our cups refilled was when the food came. Otherwise we actually went to the bar where the pitcher of water was and refilled our waters ourselves.
Once we were finished with our food and had cleaned up our own dishes and stacked it all neatly, we waited and waited for the waitress to come back. My date went to her and asked for the check and just gave her the credit card rather than wait for her return.
The ugly: the waitress/bartender doing shots with some guy at the bar? Never appropriate. Not at all. Especially at 2 pm. The conversation going on between servers? Completely inappropriate and unprofessional.
I live out of town but if I’m ever back, I would never darken the door of this establishment were I starving and they were offering free food.
I could not in good conscience recommend this restaurant even though the...
Read moreMy husband and I came to this restaurant on the anniversary of our daughter's birth/passing in order to celebrate what little time we had with her. I will admit that the day we went in, it was fairly busy, but we were seated quickly, which was a good start. But then, it took 20 minutes and 3 rounds of people asking my husband and I if we had our drink order taken yet before someone came to ask us. We ordered 2 cokes and a strawberry daiquiri. Their strawberry daiquiri was very good and the alcohol did not overwhelm the taste of strawberry either. The food, though delicious, is also quite expensive. With 2 sodas, 1 alcoholic beverage, an appetizer, 2 entrees, and a tip a total of 103 USD was spent. Definitely expect to spend a small fortune to eat here. I will say that the staff, though friendly, were very inattentive to my husband and I and we spent another 15 minutes after our drink order waiting to be seen about ordering dinner. After we were seen, we were rushed to complete the order. We also never received a bread basket as opposed to other seated patrons. On a more positive note, our food was very delicious and cooked to perfection. But, though the food is very good and well worth the money spent, I do find the service there lacking. I would love to go back when less busy, and maybe have a...
Read more3.5* .I brought my 3 sister's, and their children while visiting from Michigan. We walked in,and stood for a good 2 minutes before anyone greeted us. She told us to sit at a table near by and disappeared for a couple more minutes to the back. When she came back we did received a proper greeting, and she took our drink orders. When the pop came out it tasted like city water. Not nearly enough syrup flavor. This is disappointing for me. We orderd appetizers. The chicken strips were amazing. Along with the sauce. It was delectable! Onion rings and mushrooms were good. Cheese Stix were meh on breading, but amazing spicy cheese inside. Adults ordered different cuts of steaks, which were very delicious! I got fries with mine, which were freezer crinkle cut fries. I think not serving freshly cut steak fries or something similar is a miss for a nice place like this. The rolls were disappointing to me as well. A couple of my nephews got the fettuccine Alfredo. They said the sauce was amazing. It feels like there should be a friendly greeter in front to seat people. And I feel like they should definitely serve all fresh food, and top tier ingredients, and this place would be amazing. I believe I spent around $280 for 7 people before tip. And left an $80 tip on top of that. I...
