PLEASE READ. UPDATE: They Made It Right ā So Grateful!
I originally had a very disappointing experience at this salon after a $500 balayage with Cyndi that left my healthy, uncolored hair dull, dry, and breaking. Despite showing clear inspiration photos and expressing how important it was to avoid damage, the result looked nothing like what I asked for. My scalp was also burned during a rushed blow-dry, and I had to get an unplanned haircut due to the damage. At the time, I was devastated and heartbroken, especially after spending nearly $700 at the salon in under a month. That said, I reached out to the owner, and Iām so glad I did. She was understanding and immediately offered to make it right. I came back in, and Emily (the manager) absolutely saved my hair. She was so sweet, professional, and truly listened to what I wanted. The manager also helped out during the appointment, and both of them were incredibly kind and skilled. They took their time, treated my hair with care, and the result is everything I had hoped for the first time around. I finally love how my hair looks again, healthy, shiny, and beautiful!
Iām genuinely so happy I gave them the opportunity to fix it. Mistakes can happen, but how a business handles them makes all the difference. Thank you, Emily and the team, for turning a bad experience into one I can now feel great about. š
**Iām extremely disappointed with the service I received here. I paid $500 for a balayage with Cyndi that looks nothing like the inspiration photos I showed during my consultation. My natural hair was healthy, uncolored, and well-maintained for over 3 years rated a 9/10 in health by the stylist herself. I made it very clear I didnāt want to risk damage, and was reassured Olaplex would protect it.
Instead, my hair is now dull, dry, breaking, and feels like hay. My scalp was burned during a rushed blow-dry, and I had to get another haircut during the appointment because of damage. The stylist claimed the color would āset inā over time, which doesnāt make sense at all. Iāve had several consultations since, and was told I canāt fix this without causing more damage.
Iāve spent nearly $700 at this salon in less than a month between my appointment, the consultation, and having my daughterās hair done and an hair cut on myself just two weeks before this appointment so I didnāt have any split ends going into this appointment and Iām devastated with how my hair looks right now. This was not a $500 service, and Iām left with damaged hair and no resolution.
If you know how it feels to finally get your hair looking exactly how you want it, perfect, soft, shiny and healthy only to have it ruined and no one to care or take accountability itās the worst feeling in the world. Please be careful who you let touch your hair. š Iām waiting on a response to see what my next steps are. I have to wait until Thursday for a manager to get back to me. Iām sharing my hair right before, after and my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMade a same day appointment by phone, drove 30 minutes, arrived and was told I had to wear a mask. I explained I have a medical condition and was told "We have no proof of that so you have to wear a mask." I offered to show my inhaler...still no.
As a veteran with a disability I was extremely shocked and offended! First, why was nothing said about their mask mandate while I was on the phone? Second both the stylist and receptionist were wearing masks...they were protected!
I understand policy but not all people are ABLE to wear a mask. Even for a "short bit".
I took my business elsewhere. I'd suggest anyone else looking for SERVICE to do the same.
**EDIT as response to owner's reply: you had ONE customer present. While you can note recommend policies it is also important to be aware of the Americans with Disabilities Act. It would also be considerate to let potential clients know your policy when they call. Dont assume clients find you on Google just because they leave a Google review. It's all good. I got my hair done and saved over half than I would have paid at your shop. And the ladies were very understanding and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt even remember my hair before Cyrell and I donāt want to! I was initially referred to her by a friend over three years ago for a color correction! Iād gone to her to fix a stylists work from Jose LuĆs salon (Austin). I had tiger streaks that were brassy and I was wanting an ashier blonde. She not only fixed my color after hours of hard work, but she also recommended me the best products to get my hair back to being healthy again! Iāve gone from silver, platinum, to caramel and dark brown with Cyrell over the years (not overnight!) and her techniques are untouchable! She has an eye for color matching so when I decided to get extensions, my hair color was SEAMLESS with the extensions! Not only does she really take the time to match your vision, she also takes an incredible amount of time to make sure youāre taking care of your hair at home. When I was platinum (a lot of maintenance) we did treatments in the bowl and in between my appointments to ensure I didnāt have breakage and kept my strong hair. I canāt rave enough about this woman - she has changed my life and itās no wonder she has her own salon in such a...
