I generally love costco and have been to numerous locations in many states. I can honestly say that the only good thing about this location is that their gas station has more pumps than any other location. Other than that, this location is horrible. None of the employees ever seem to want to help out. In one instance, a manager was just short of calling me a liar before giving me store credit for something that occurred. That's a very long story I'm not going to go into.
Today, I went there trying to locate an item that is supposedly low stock according to their app inventory. I approached one employee that swore up and down she had never seen the item, and then when I showed it to her on the app she directed me to a supervisor. When I finally spoke to the supervisor after a long line of people he confirmed that they had low stock of the item and directed me to two nearby employees that he said would help me locate it in "that" area where all the low stock items are while pointing towards the pharmacy area for some reason. I approached those two employees to tell them what their supervisor said. As soon as I tried to speak to them they quickly walked away from me without a word. I know they saw me because I was only about 2 ft away from them staring at them. I was finally able to track one of them down and ask her where the item is located. After searching the computer again for some reason she pointed to the opposite side of the store and said it should be over there without any offer of helping me look for it. At the end of the trip the item was not located. I wasted my time driving out of my way to this Costco location after work when my time is limited. Going forward I can honestly say I will only use this location...
Read moreI just got here today with my friend and I am a member of Costco, but didn't bring my membership card since I am out of town (visiting LA from Dallas) but my friend has a Costco cashcard of $ 100 worth so we wanted to use it. My friend lives with her mom who is a member but didn't have a membership card with her. Anyways, Sam from customer service was saying we have to use the Cashcard all at once since we didn’t have a member card with us and didn't consider my friend as a member because she didn't the physical membership card with her, although she purchases lots of products from Costco online every month. To the point, Sam treated us in a very rude manner which made us really upset! I am a Costco executive member and I also buy Costco products alot and this is the first time I encountered the rudest customer service staff in my life!!! He insisted that we have to spend the cashcard all at once today and didn't explain that we can get the money back if we didn't spend all. He was just so adamant that we didn't have the physical membership card and treated us badly. I was so disappointed at this place that we ended up leaving. We almost called the supervisor but decided not to since we just didn't want to deal with that mean person anymore. I am just saying, if you are working in the customer service, you must have a customer friendly attitude. I don't think he is qualified to work at the customer service at least. He said that even there is 50 people in the household, every family member has to have a personal membership. Common, I only have two adults in my family and my friend has four, is he crazy or...
Read moreI've been going to this costco for a while now and had no issue but today was the first day that I encountered an issue that should be fixed and changed. The issue is a new rule that only allows the card holder to pay which is understandable unless it is being paid with cash, especially if the card holder is present during the payment. My encounter was as I was checking out today with my family, my husband tried to pay for the items but she refused to accept the money and said it had to be paid by the card holder. The person who was managing our station was Melanie G and her OP# is 84. Mind you it was cash we were paying with. If it was a card I would understand why it could be refused, but this was cash. My husband passed the money to me (I was standing next to her), and she still had to call the manager over to our register to check if this was allowed. The manager permitted it and she finally allowed us to pay for what we wanted to buy. However, she continued to complain that if the rule was that the card holder must pay then my husband shouldn't be allowed to pay as I was still standing within hearing range. The issues with this encounter was that I wasnt made aware of the rule until I had already been through this experience where another employee came over. I have no issue with this rule other than the fact that she complained even after getting permission from her manager, that I was standing next to my husband and he tried to pay, and that she refused to accept the money after my husband passed it to me even though I was the card holder. I hope this issue is fixed since it ruined...
