I spotted this place today, returning from Costco. I decided to check it out since I was right there. It's Wednesday, so according to their signs, everything should be $1. Tomorrow they are closed, and Friday everything should be $12. It's one of those places. Anyway, I perused the tables in the center of the place, and they were filled with literal trash, like someone had dug it all out of a dumpster. It was all open boxes, broken items, etc. I did see what looked like a new rice cooker but it did not have an inner pot so it was worthless. Anyway, I saw there were tables around the perimeter filled with clothes. Nothing was organized of course, but I did find a couple of decent tee shirts still in bags. When I went to pay, the cashier said all the clothes were $5. There were no signs about the clothes being different prices, BTW. He said if I picked out two more items, I could get everything for $20. W H A T? I pointed to the sign that said $1 Wednesday. He said no, only the junk on the center tables is $1. I walked out.
I won't give them one star, because at least the place seemed relatively clean, but maybe that's because they...
Read moreI went on 3 dollar day close to closing, I found 1 good deal but everything else was borderline trash which is fine as you expect most things to be gone. The reason for the 1 star review is because the employee or owner working the register was beyond rude, like I'd give him negative stars if I could. I asked "since you're almost closing and dollar day is tomorrow, would you be willing to sell me this dirty blanket for a dollar" (I was going to give it to my dogs) .... the owner could have simply said "no sorry, we have to charge 3$ today" or something along those lines. But he borderline yelled "OMG ITS 3 DOLLARS, DO YOU WANT IT OR NOT!!!" Caught me off guard as it was a simple question, and I had gone to a similar store in Santa Ana where you can bargain for the more expensive items. If you go here, expect to pay their asking price on everything and DO NOT try to bargain with them (the irony in...
Read moreGreat deals! I went in out of curiosity and bought a new car wheel cap set for $10! It was $150 retail on Amazon and I’m glad I waited to check out the store as they just happen to have one set that fit.
Interesting concept where you get amazing options on Thursdays when new shipments arrive. Next day is cheaper if it’s still left, then prices drop every day as long as it’s still available. Wednesday mornings are a $1 each for anything still left. I see people grabbing dozens of items at great bargain! People are nice too and I’ve seen them help you load items when you buy bulky items
Things go fast and sometimes feel like Black Friday experience so note to self: go early in the day before the...
