OH MY GOD. Jean is the cutest, sweetest lady ever. Freaking ADORABLE. I live way up North in a rural area, where there are no vegan donuts within 5 hours of me, so I got excited and bought waaaayyyyy too many donuts, haha. She was excited and grateful, and thanked us for supporting a small business, and threw in extra donuts for free. She was sooo nice and funny.
OMG the raised donuts are fantastic. Better than Ronald’s Donuts in Vegas. We came at 7pm, so the donuts were already old, but they were still the softest, freshest donuts I’ve ever had in my life. I can’t imagine what they would be like if I’d gotten there early. The apple fritters are about the size of two of my hands put together. She was sold out of the more interesting flavors, so we just had the standard faire.
The only negative are the cake donuts. They’re super soft and cakey, but they just soak up the grease. So just avoid the couple of cake donuts and stick with everything else. Oh yeah, she also said the drinks can all be made vegan by adding coffee instead of their...

If you're looking for a fancy donut spot -- your Sidecar or Voodoo Donut -- move along. But, if you're looking for your new go-to spot for when you want to cheat a little and have a classic cheap fluffy glazed donut, this is the place.
My husband found this gem when we first moved to the area and since that first time we walked in Jean was just the sweetest. She's super helpful and seems genuinely invested in her customers' lives. Now that we've been in a couple times she not only remembers us, but always asks how our family is and what's new in our world. Combine that with some of the best (and fluffiest) donuts I've ever had and this is definitely...
Read moreJean Donut sold me stale day old donuts and charged me $17 for 6 crummy donuts that were hard and tasted awful. She packaged each donut separately and wrote how many seconds to warm it that was rather odd. Who does that unless donuts are old as they were! I asked for a cinnamon apple donut but she personally selected a cinnamon roll that was $3.00 opposed to the regularly less expensive cinnamon apple cake donut! She may throw in a free donut that she wants to get rid of at the end of the day but it doesn’t make up for selling you old stale donuts. I would not recommend this place to no one!!! It sucks!!! Gross...
