I was visiting from out of town with the hope of buying some nice yarn for some gift knitting I'm planning for the holidays, and this store was such a treat. It was so cozy, everything was laid out beautifully. The store owner (Carol, I believe!) was so friendly and her beautiful dog was such a sweetheart. I've been there a few times and was just able to take my only knitting friend and we just had a blast there. The employees are so inviting and attentive, I'm always shy in yarn shops but this is the first one I've been able to feel at home in. I'm still quite young and I always feel kind of outside of yarn stores target demographics but not here, and thats honestly so refreshing. Great shop, wonderful selection and a sweet little dog too. I was disappointed in the store. Being a new grandmother I was set to knit!! I bought over $200 Worth of yarn and when I went back in for some help getting started on using 5 needles as opposed to circular needles, (Needles bought there, yarn bought there) what I thought was “help” they charged me $20 for the help.
