Breen's Florist (previously known as Compton's Florist) — Local services in La Porte

This is the first time we have used Compton's, but it certainly won't be the last! I have a little sis who is very ill right now and I wanted to put a smile on her sweet face. So, hubby and I go in to Compton's and order a 60.00 arrangement , I just said please make it bright and cheery. We placed the order about 2-2:30 in the afternoon, and they were being handled by a florist in Tomball, a "partner" florist of Compton's, as that is where sis is hospitalized. We were told that they wouldn't be able to deliver until the next day, and we were fine with that. However, I received the sweetest pic of sis, big ol' Texas grin on her pretty face, clutching those gorgeous flowers! I Couldn't stop the tears of joy! The flowers, btw, FAR exceeded our expectations, very pleased....so kudos to Compton's and their partner florist in Tomball, great job! God bless, and Merry...

My boyfriend decided to surprise me with a birthday arrangement. It was really cute so I messaged him to thank him. He asked me to send a photo of my flowers and was upset when he saw the picture. He sent me a photo of what the arrangement was supposed to look like - it was not nearly as full. Side by side, this arrangement was pretty dainty. If he spent more than $25 on the arrangement (I did not ask but based on other reviewers stating there is a $45 minimum and $20 delivery fee) - that was a bit of a rip off. I agree with the reviewer from a month ago that I've seen store bought arrangements that look better than this and were far less expensive. I will post the two pictures side by side and let you decide whether or not to use...

Spent close to $180.00 for an arrangement for Valentine's Day, saw what came to my house to my wife. I can buy that arrangement at Krogers down the street for about $80.00 . Have done business with these people for around 10 years. Was shocked, very embarrassed! Only one question for this outfit, why did you do that to me? And did you buy this arrangement from Kroger and mark it up?! This was for my wife!!!!!!!! That is her day. She actually ask me if I sent the wrong...
