Went to this location for convenience. Wedding band and engagement rings were my mother in laws with lifetime warranty. Never had any issues with Kay's in Paddock Mall or SR40 for a warranty issue when one of the diamonds fell out. Go to this location and suddenly they can't find anything and the rings don't have a lifetime warranty. Would be a charge of $179 to have rings sized and put together. Asked manager several times to look under my maiden name and also my sister in laws however nothing found. My husband went to Kay's in Paddock Mall and spoke with the manager there. Within 5 minutes they were able to find the original receipt for the purchase of the rings and confirmed they were covered under lifetime warranty. Go to pick up rings today, husband shows the picture of the original purchase receipt the manager tells us that she will not charge us as a courtesy but the receipt is not for my rings. Even though there is a picture of my rings connected to the receipt. She told us "that's the receipt that I picked up for you" I reminded her that she never pulled up a receipt and told us that she couldn't find anything. Her tone changed. Never looked under my maiden name or my sister in laws as we asked. She then told us "that's why I spent hours with you" That didn't happen either. Nowhere close to hours. Amar was wonderful and helpful as he could be and most of all AWESOME customer service. Moving forward, will take the extra time to travel to Ocala where there are no issues and stellar...
Read moreI have refused to shop at Kay for 24 yrs. It all stemmed from a diamond wedding band that was in the shop more than it was on my finger the entire first year I was married. Between the state of Florida and Washington DC I spoke with more Regional managers, corporate people, in store managers then I can begin to explain. No one, and I mean no one, would swap out my ring which clearly had a defect unless I paid twice its value. I refused to ever give more money to a company that wouldn't stand behind it's product. I ended up buying a new wedding set from a direct competitor at three times the value of the Ring I had, simply out of spite. And for 24 years my original ring is not in a box in a drawer recently I was at Kay Jeweler in Lady Lake and Harmony, after explaining why I won't shop there (when picking up a repair), the first person to ever offer me help. She offered to take the old ring and give me its value on anything in the store. I cannot say enough good things about her! I was truly surprised and really appreciated the fact that someone was finally offering to...
Read moreOh, wow, where do I even start with this gem of a person? Angela’s help in picking out my engagement ring was nothing short of a masterclass in patience and taste. They didn’t just point me to the sparkliest thing in the case; they took the time to get what I was going for—something that screamed “forever” without screaming “I sold my kidney for this.” Their eye for detail was sharper than a diamond’s cut, guiding me through the overwhelming world of carats, settings, and budgets with zero judgment. They asked questions I hadn’t even thought of, like how the ring would look in sunlight versus candlelight, and somehow made the whole process feel fun instead of stressful. Honestly, they’re the kind of person who could make choosing a ring feel as romantic as the proposal itself. If you need someone to help you find the perfect piece, this is your human—five...
